The Geneva Woman's Club papers encompass a large range of materials that document the activities of members, the club, its committees, and public works. The materials include correspondence, financials statements, committee reports, articles, photographs, memorabilia, administrative documents, and printed materials.
The Historical Society possesses quite a few pieces of Hotel Seneca that have been left behind including menus, wine lists, pamphlets, a napkin, and even pieces of wallpaper. There is not much material from the days of the Nester Hotel but rather the time period during which the building was Hotel Seneca, 1912-1982.
The collection covers the years 1905 to 1953 and contains one letter from 1995. The bulk of the letters belong to Margaret McCarthy, but a couple are addressed to Francis Wallace (brother or father). There are many greeting cards addressing anniversaries, birthdays, baby announcements, and holidays.
Fay and Bowen Company Records, 1904 - 2004 Four Boxes
This collection contains photographs, catalogs, advertisements and articles from various publications. Also included is correspondence conducted between the Geneva Historical Society and others from the 1960s-2000s, mostly with Eleanor Clise, GHS Archivist. Most Fay & Bowen material comes from after the company moved from Auburn, 1904, until it closed in 1929; a couple of catalogs or copies are included from pre-1904. Also included are FayBow materials from the early 1930s.
American Can Company Records, 1901 - 1989 Seven Boxes
This collection covers the entirety of American Can Company’s years of business, from 1901-1989, with a large number of photos (many duplicates of the same company distributed photos). It also includes personal reference books of former employees, publications distributed by the company, and tools of the trade. Blueprints, correspondence, articles, and photographs make up the bulk of the collection.

This collection includes photographs, ephemera, funeral home records, and articles related to the Joseph Madia and Eleanora Cariti Madia, Josephine Madia Bihary, and Joseph Bihary with materials related to their children David and Barbara. The time period ranges from 1886 through 1987.
This collection consists of publications both about and by the WFHP, including a newsletter, as well as various other publications from around the Finger Lakes area. Also included are a few photos, articles, and a scrapbook compiled by J. Andrew Foster.
This collection covers the expansion of the company from Troy to Geneva. Many of the catalogues also contain information and photos of the Troy warehouse and salesroom. Catalogues and photos make up the bulk of this collection and cover the early days of the factory in Geneva and into the mid-20th century.

The collection covers 1881-1924, though Haviland dies in 1921 some materials were kept together despite not being related. Staff may decide to split these materials up later on.

Chew Family Papers, 1820-1985 Five Boxes
This collection consists of currency, photos, slides, newspaper articles, and ephemera produced by the bank from 1817 to 2005. Additionally, the collection includes original Norman Kent drawings; Kent was commissioned by the bank in the 1940s to produce a number of woodcuts to be used in calendars published by the bank. The drawings are currently housed with the Norman Kent Papers.
W&T Smith & Company Records, 1817 - 1930 Three Boxes
This collection covers the years 1817 through 1930 and includes deeds, mortgages, bonds, protests, catalogs, photos, invoices, and receipts. Deeds and tax receipts for land in Utah, Colorado, Iowa, Wisconsin, and others addressed to W&T Smith Co. point to their ownership of land in these states with connections to other nurseries. Most dates for deeds/mortgages/bonds are those for the date the deed was recorded by the clerk, not the date on the deed itself.

This collection consists of many photographs, articles, recollections, and other ephemera from throughout the history of the White Springs Farm property. It also includes ledgers from 1832 through 1935.
These materials cover 1796 through the 1990s with histories, research, articles, and photographs on the building and its uses since it was built. Especially important are the deeds related to the Hygienic Institute’s Amos B Smith and James Knapp and the Pulteney Apartments, Inc.
