This collection includes material related to the Geneva Medical College, which was a branch of Geneva College (now Hobart College), during the time it was in Geneva.

This material covers the time period from 1894-1927 with photos, directory listings, and other ephemera related to the business. Other materials originated from GHS staff or researchers from 1983-2008 including correspondence and photos.

This collection covers the years that America was involved in World War II and Geneva’s efforts on the home front, plus the years the ‘Our Boys Fund’ Committee was still going into the 1950s. There are publications made for the home front and for soldiers, ration books, articles, and photos; documents related to Our Boys Fund and the Geneva City Defense Council.

George MB Hawley was a lawyer and historian who lived in Geneva most of his life.

George Conover was a well-respected historian of the Geneva and Ontario County area. He served as a Geneva Village Trustee and President.

Gladys Gray was a lifelong resident of Geneva and heavily involved with the Geneva Historical Society.

The Gracey family were known for their involvement in the Geneva Daily Times and were heavily involved in civic affairs in Geneva.

This collection includes ledgers, articles, and other miscellaneous ephemera related to WW Haviland, his pharmacy, and his other partners. The collection covers 1881-1924, though Haviland dies in 1921 some materials were kept together despite not being related. Staff may decide to split these materials up later on.
