This collection of records document the institutional history of the Center for US-China Arts Exchange, established in 1978. Under the directorship of professor and renowned composer Chou Wen-chung, the Center is a not-for-profit organization that connected arts professionals from the US and China through a spectrum of curated programs, conferences, and research trips. Cremin, Lawrence A (Lawrence Arthur), 1925-1990
The Lawrence A. Cremin Papers document the career and personal life of Lawrence Arthur Cremin, educational historian and seventh president of Teachers College, Columbia University (1974-1984). Cremin was an acclaimed historian of American education whose work framed the formal school as one of many institutions responsible for educating children. The collection includes records of his teaching and administrative work at Teachers College, manuscripts and published works by Cremin, and personal and professional correspondence.

Documentation of the founding Director (1937-1969) of MoMA's Department of Education and the Department's programs during his tenure: exhibitions and teaching materials circulated by the New York City High Schools Program, classes at the War Veterans' Art Center and People's Art Center, the Children's Art Carnival at MoMA and overseas, and summer art classes at the Art Barge; D'Amico's extra-MoMA involvement in progressive museum art education, including his articles, speeches, and participation in the National Committee for Art Education; as well as personal writings, correspondence, honors, and awards.
