Administrative records from the Office of the President, which guides the overall direction and leadership of the school. This collection documents major university initiatives and trends since it's beginning in the 19th century.

The Neisner Brothers Incorporated Collection documents the history, growth and eventual financial difficulties of a Rochester, New York, five and dime store that expanded to become a nationally recognized chain.

This collection consists of three boxes. Box 1 contains correspondence and historical ephemera, a significant amount of which pertains to the factory opening of 1910. It also contains several style model books. Box 2 contains a scrapbook of historical newspaper clippings. Special care should be used in handling this scrapbook. In Box 3, a wide variety of business and financial information can be found, including original stock certificates and account books, as well as legal documents pertaining to the 1922 merger with Levy Bros.

The Alling and Cory Company Papers consists of 11 boxes and additional flat objects of company records, the majority being photographs from the mid-20th century; business records documenting product development, and company departments; and price lists of products made by the company, and other printing companies.

This collection contains nearly 300 manuscript items related to the science of geology.  Together with over 500 rare books it is part of the Gerald and Sue Friedman History of Geology Collection.

Business and patent records of the Rumford Chemical Works, H.M. Anthony Company and Wilson Ring Company in Providence, Rhode Island.

This photograph album contains 8x10" black and white interior and exterior pictures of various campus buildings and laboratories on the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute campus.

The collection consists of picture postcards of street scenes, parks, public buildings, businesses, monuments, educational institutions, scenes along the Hudson River, and other views in and around Troy, New York as well as a small set of postcards of bridges built by RPI engineers. The postcards are arranged alphabetically in two series: I. Troy and vicinity, II. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and III. Bridges. Most date from the early twentieth century, but many are undated. The bulk of the collection was donated by Yonel Grant but has been added to by Archives staff and others over the years.

The collection consists of correspondence, radio talks, speeches and articles.
