This collection includes the Rockefeller Foundation Quarterly Bulletin, and subsequent Quarterly Reports from 1927-2005.

Rockefeller Foundation staff files, as well as select files of General Education Board (GEB) and Laura Spelman Rockefeller Memorial (LSRM) staff. Often includes: minutes and appointments, appointment history, personal history, correspondence, compensation, budget appropriations, field reports, travel requests and associated documentation.

Currently contains biographical files.

Treasurer's files include but are not limited to: grants, vouchers, cash books, financial reports, payments, appropriations, expenditures, trial balances, and related files.

Each bulletin often contains 4 or 5 articles spanning a wide range of Foundation funded projects.

This collection contains the early records of the Society of American Historians (SAH). The bulk of the material relates to the founding of the magazine American Heritage in 1954, and the establishment of the Francis Parkman and the Allan Nevins Prizes, awarded by the SAH since 1957 and 1961, respectively. Also present is a small amount of research material collected by Allan Nevins, Columbia University history professor and one of the founders of the SAH.

The Vladimir Ussachevsky Papers document the academic and professional career of pioneering electronic-music composer Vladimir Ussachevsky. This collection contains teaching and administrative materials, correspondence with other composers, writings and compositions by Ussachevsky and others, and programs, publicity materials, and personal documents.

The Wallace Buttrick collection covers the period from 1888 to 1926.

Important subjects in this collection include Rose's election to Peabody College Presidency, Peabody Fund Award, International Health Division, travels, and fishing.

The collection includes excerpts from the travel and laboratory diaries (1931-1944) of Rockefeller Foundation personnel, three volumes of correspondence (1940-1970), and a volume of Downs's trip diary with interview notes (1971-1976).
