The collection contains correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, and printed materials. The correspondence chiefly covers from the 1920s to the 1960s. Manuscripts include an extensive autobiography; a memoir about his work before World War I as a prosecutor in the Tbilisi region"Desi︠a︡t ́let sluzhby v prokurskom nadzore na Kavkaze;" and notes and manuscripts on many topics, including history and his years in Georgia and the emigration. Included are Rozhdestvenskiĭ's personal documents from both Russia and the emigration, and photographs of him and of members of emigre organizations. Among the printed materials are clippings and several early twentieth century political pamphlets.

The collection consists of manuscripts and documents. It includes a manuscript (16 p.) by Litvinov on the Civil War in Kiev in 1918; and a handwritten autobiography (36 p.) by Aleksandr Narkizovich Litvinov, a colonel in the Imperial Guard Izmailov Regiment (Leĭb-Gvardiĭ Izmaĭlovskiĭ Polk). Documents mostly concern Litvinov family history and span the years 1794-1918. Cataloged materials consist of two documents signed by Alexander I (1802, 1808), and one signed by Nicholas I (1834).

The Chen Lifu papers (陳立夫檔案) mainly document his involvement in Chinese politics during the Republican era, dating from 1926 to 1989, with the bulk dates from 1926 to 1951. The papers consist of correspondence, portrait, meeting documents, reports, plans, speeches, writings, memoir, and printed materials. The papers focus on Chen Lifu's political career as the Head of the Central Bureau of Investigation and Statistics and the Minister of Education, as well as his general involvement in politics dating from 1926 to 1949.

Manuscripts collected by David J. Dallin consists of autobiographical essays in English and Russian by Soviet displaced persons, discussing their lives in the USSR and why they chose not to return there. There are also essays in English telling the stories of Soviet displaced persons from the point of view of another unidentified narrator. Also included is a letter dated 2 Aug. 1943 from Povilas Zadeikis, a representative of Lithuania in the United States in 1934 – 1957.

The papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, and printed materials. Correspondence includes 3 letters from Mikhaĭl Karpovich, and letters from Khmelńit︠s︡kai︠a︡'s son Sergeĭ, a writer in the Soviet Union. Among the manuscripts is Khmelńit︠s︡kai︠a︡'s autobiography, which discusses her childhood in Odessa and her education; and her translation of the letters of William Frey, a Russian immigrant in Kansas in the 1870s.

The collection includes correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files, and printed materials. Seryshev carried on a voluminous correspondence in Esperanto, as well as Russian and English, with individuals in many countries. This material mostly dates from the late 1920s. Photographs of Seryshev's correspondents have been left with the letters to which these photos were attached. The main manuscript is a lengthy autobiography by Father Seryshev, illustrated with photos, postcards, and documents, called "V Zemnom plane moego vechnogo bytii︠a︡", describing in five volumes and appendices his life and travels in pre-revolutionary Siberia, in Japan (1919-1922), in China (1922-1925), and in Australia, where he settled after 1926. An earlier manuscript entitled "Peshkom po i︠a︡ponskim shkolam", also covers the Japanese period in Seryshev's life. Among materials relating to Seryshev's activities as a promoter of Esperanto, mention should be made of his manuscript "Esperanto v SSSR i ee satelitakh", to which much primary material is adjoined. Printed material includes "Siberio" (1914), a collection of articles on Siberia, translated into Esperanto and edited by Seryshev; various Russian-language periodicals brought out by Father Seryshev in Australia; and Esperanto textbooks in Russian, Polish, and Lithuanian.

Typescript memoirs that primarily concern the First World War and the Revolution and Civil War. Also included is a series of autobiographical letters from Gersdorf to one Vladimir Vladimirovich, which apparently formed the basis for the memoirs.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and printed materials. There are manuscripts for his books, short stories, articles, and other writings. The printed materials include books written, edited, and translated by Komroff, as well as his contributions to anthologies and periodicals. There are also a number of books by other authors inscribed to him. Most of the photographs are portraits of literary figures, the majority of which were taken by Komroff.

Collection includes 19 manuscript notebooks of poetry and prose; 42 titled articles in typescript form on religious, political, literary and autobiographical topics; several published collections of her poetry; and a folder of original drawings. Also included are three biographical articles by K. Mochulśkiĭ, M. Vishni︠a︡k and her mother Sofii︠a︡ Borisovna Pilenko, as well as her own childhood and that of her mother and grandmother during the era of Alexander I, Nicholas I, and Alexander II.

Manuscripts by Voronkov. One manuscript is a short (6 p.), handwritten, autobiographical essay, in which Voronkov mentions his military education, his service in the Russian Imperial Army, his management of a military factory in WWI, and his emigration after the Civil War. The other manuscript"Svi︠a︡tai︠a︡ Ruś" consists of 80 poems written by Voronkov primarily about Imperial Russia, Russian Orthodoxy and the Romanov family. The collection also includes a copy of a Russian emigre newspaper published in Argentina ("Nasha Strana" 15 Feb. 1966) that contains an article about Voronkov's poems.
