The Rochester Academy of Science Papers include letters to and from the Academy, chiefly of a business nature. Also in the collection are lecture programs and announcements, reception programs, bulletins and information leaflets, lists of the membership and officers of the Academy, annual reports of officers, bills and receipts, copies of the various constitutions and bylaws, and miscellaneous folders containing papers given before the Academy, contracts with the University of Rochester Library, legislation, clippings and notices. Additionally, there are notebooks containing minutes of the geological and engineering divisions, and Entomology Section, 1946-1948; a list of the books belonging to the Academy Library, an album of photographs of the Academy members and photographs of some biological specimens, and seven boxes containing records of the Botanical Section.
