The stubs include check number, date of the check, payee, amount, voided checks, and account balance. Most of the checks were written for contributions made by the foundation.

The correspondence and agreements with insurance companies, professional organizations, Con Edison, service industry, management companies, unions, and government agencies show the costs involved in operating these rental properties. There are several files on compliance with New York City, New York State, and Federal building regulations on asbestos, fire safety, emergency lighting, employees, exterior walls, and heating and cooling. Also included are bulletins, statistics, pamphlets reports, and other information about electric rates, labor costs, legal matters, and rental fees. Besides these documents, the series has employee directories, blank forms, insurance papers, old tenant lists, schedules, and miscellaneous materials used by Uris employees. Furthermore, there are records on the renovations of 380 Madison Avenue and 300 Park Avenue by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill.

These records, 1980-1985, contain forms, balance sheets, deductions, accounting work sheets, income statements, payment vouchers, extension requests, and estimated tax calculations.

The stubs include information on the account balance, date of the check, payee, amount, and notation of the purpose of the payment. Most of the checks are not numbered.
