Papers of student activist Paul Krehbiel, concerning his involvement in and exposure to the Student unrest of the late 1960s-1970 at the University at Buffalo. The bulk of the material is dated from circa 1968-1970, except Krehbiel's later organizational interests, which dates from 2000.

Collection contains materials collected by Dr. Fred F. Harcleroad on student unrest in colleges and universities during the 1960s and early 1970s concerning the attitudes of the public and students during the unrest period on racial riots, university and high school governance, students' academic freedom and their role in university administration, the Vietnam War and political issues during the Nixon administration. Included are newspaper clippings, magazines U.S. News and World Report, Harpers, News Week, magazine articles, pamphlets, newsletters, speeches, "speech materials", interoffice memos, minutes and papers from conferences, catalogs, and unpublished essays.

Color 35 mm slides of the South (Main Street) campus. Also includes black and white negatives, and a small number of images of North (Amherst) campus under construction.

Printed materials, including leaflets, position papers, newsletters, reports and other items concerning student movements in India, circa 1935 to 1965, international student organizations, circa 1948 to 1971, and student movements in the United States, circa 1960 to 1969.

The Squire Hall Demonstrations Records document student protests when the University at Buffalo converted the student union into a dental clinic for the Dental School, March 1982.

Two scrapbooks of newspaper clippings relating to campus unrest at the University at Buffalo in 1970. Volume 1 consists of Buffalo Courier Express clippings, dated February 26 to April 15, 1970. Volume 2 contains Buffalo Evening News clippings, February 26 to April 16, 1970. Topics include Buffalo police on campus, ROTC protests, establishment of experimental colleges, and Acting President Dr. Peter F. Regan.
