Harry Douglas Yates (1903-1996) was a banker, politician, and developed the Dutch Village apartment complex in Menands, New York. This collection contains diaries, correspondence, deeds, scrapbooks, and other related papers.

Heath Babcock (1901-1992) worked at the New York State Library for 38 years as a medical librarian. This collection contains personal papers, photographs, and a scrapbook.

This collection contains correspondence, clippings, obituaries, scrapbooks, ledger books, and other business records.

Liesel Hiemenz was born around 1913 in Germany. She had some memories of living through World War I, and many from World War II, and much of the collection consists of her stories.

The photographs in the collection were made by Frank W. Knapp, who operated a commercial photography studio on North Pearl Street from 1892 until shortly before he died on November 26, 1947.

Her father was a U.S. Congressman, representing New York’s 14th District. One of her sisters was Harriet Langdon Pruyn Rice (1868-1939). Hybertie married Charles Sumner Hamlin (1861-1938) in 1898. Charles was a lawyer, delegate to three international peace conferences, and later, the first Governor appointed to the Federal Reserve Board in 1914.
