This scrapbook contains materials regarding RPI's Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) during World War II, 1941-1945. Included are newspaper clippings about the program and photos of Rensselaer students training on different equipment, such as anti-aircraft guns, and studying the mechanics of torpedos.
This large album of photographs taken by James A. Simons, RPI Class of 1918, documents his college years, his service in the United States Navy, travel and recreational activities, and employee social events at Cutler-Hammer. All but a few of the photos are numbered, dated, and identified.
This folder contains a paper headband worn at an RPI Alumni Reunion. It features a large RPI seal on the front. "Compliments of The Union National Bank Troy, NY" is printed on the back.
