The collection consists of manuscripts, memoirs and a printed item. Manuscripts consist of poems by Maĭborodov, including a typescript of a poema entitled "Bogdan Khmelńit︠s︡kiĭ." The memoirs primarily concern the years 1900-1938 and include Maĭborodov's reminiscences as a student at St. Petersburg University (1900-1904) and his reminiscences of his service as a zemstvo chief in the Volyni︠a︡n, Podoli︠a︡n, Bessarabian and Kherson provinces from 1904-1916. The printed item is an off-print (61 p.) of a memoir entitled "S frant︠s︡uzami," which was published in "Arkhiv Russkoĭ Revoli︠u︡tsii." In the collection it is part of the memoir "Vo vremi︠a︡ smuty (pri vremennom pravitelśtve) [1917-1920]."

Correspondence and memoirs of Vereshchagin. Correspondence includes letters from a number of major emigre cultural figures, such as Ivan Bunin, Matild́a Ksheshinskai︠a︡, Vasiliĭ Nemirovich-Danchenko; there are also poems by Nemirovich-Danchenko and by Nadezhda Teffi. In addition, there are letters by members of the Imperial family in exile, particularly Grand Prince Vladimir Kirillovich. Vereshchagin's memoirs touch on such subjects as his childhood and family, the Imperial Corps of Pages, cultural life in St. Petersburg and Petrograd, and the early 1920's in Petrograd and Moscow. In addition, there is a pamphlet of poems by Vereshchagin"Stikhi" (1955).

The collection includes Romanovich's memoirs (15 p.) concerning the period 1914-1920, mostly focusing on her activities in the Don region during the Civil War. There are also two typescript poems by Romanovich.

Correspondence, manuscripts, subject files, and printed materials of Bek and her husband. Correspondence includes two letters by Anton Denikin and one by Aleksandr Kutepov. Among the manuscripts are the memoirs of Nadezhda Bek, covering the period up to the 1917 revolution. Vladimir Bek's manuscripts from the Civil War include political reports on the situation in south Russia in October 1919-February 1920, and a number of essays on Civil War topics (such as the White propanganda agency Osvag, and the problems of the White Army officer corps). Other materials concern the Kuban region in the Civil War. Printed materials include copies of a book of poetry published by Bek, "O russkai︠a︡ zemli︠a︡" (1944).

Manuscripts include two memoirs by Dubakina, one on her experiences in the Crimea, the other on a visit of Nicholas II there; and a personal memoir by Evgenii︠a︡ Tuli︠a︡kova-Danilovskai︠a︡, entitled "Pervyĭ god v Germanii." There is also a copy of a poem attributed to Vladimir Purishdevich. There are personal documents of Dubakina from 1918-1920. Printed materials consist of newspaper clippings concering A. I. The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, personal documents, subject files and printed materials. Almost half the correspondence is from Varvara (Vali︠a︡) Shakhovskai︠a︡, his wife, from whom he was divorced in 1932 but whose friendship he enjoyed until his death in 1961. A large portion of the manuscripts is in the form of a diary which, for the years 1919-1920, relates the activities of the Cuirassiers during the Civil War. The subject files deal exclusively with the Cuirassier Regiment and its veterans' organization in emigration. They include minutes, official mailings, regiment songs and poems and copies of the regiment publication, "Vestnik," for the period 1928-1931.

The papers consist primarily of the Kosatkin-Rostovskiĭ's memoirs. His manuscript memoirs (150 p.) discuss his life up to 1906. Her typescript memoirs (440 p.) discuss her childhood, career as an actress in St. Petersburg, 1917-1918 in Petrograd, and the emigration in France. Also included are his diary for June-July 1940; a few letters written to him; clippings of his newspaper articles (many signed with the pseudonym "Antar"); and a book with his poetry and with essays dedicated to him; "Krestnym putem k voskresenii︠u︡" (Paris, 1948).

Papers include I︠U︡rév's memoirs"Polkovnik", accompanied by photographs and songs and poems which he wrote; Russian, German and Latvian personal documents; and a two-page memoir by his wife.

Rasskazy iz zhizni avtora i izbrannye stikhotvorenii︠a︡" (Buenos Aires, 1972), a collection of poems and brief memoiristic essays, manuscripts of some which are among Gagarin's papers.

Roerich to Father Georgiĭ Spasskiĭ. Correspondence contains mostly letters to Elena Miller, and also includes letters to Archimandrite Afanasiĭ and others. There is also a letter dated 1919 from abbot (igumen) Serafim of the Belogorskiĭ monastery to Grand Prince Nikolaĭ Nikolaevich, describing the conditions and mood of the peasants in the Perm ́area. Manuscripts are by various persons on religious and political topics. Printed materials consist primarily of monarchist and religious mimeographed materials, fliers and pamphlets.
