Papers of G. Lester Anderson including correspondence, drafts of papers and speeches, reprints, reports, bibliographies, clippings, photos, and other materials relating to Anderson's role as a consultant to various institutions of higher education. Also includes his working papers for his study of the merger of the University of Buffalo with the State University of New York, and his association with various other organizations.

The collection pertains to the Women's movement during the 1960s-1980s, with an emphasis on LGBTQ+ women. Other subjects of interest include the experiences of working and professional women, and women who either worked in, or attended institutions of higher education. Many items in the collection are focused on women in the Capital Region of New York State.

The Graduate School of Journalism Records document the progression of the school from its founding in 1912 through the 1990s. The records consist of audio/visual material, clippings, copies of various publications, administrative correspondence, notes, photographs, and transcriptions of articles and speeches.

This collection contains writings and speeches; newspaper clippings; and pamphlets, programs and other printed material concerning political and civic groups, covering such topics as women's suffrage, women workers, women as jurors and city and state politics. Of particular interest to the study of the woman suffrage movement in Buffalo are membership lists of the Woman Workers Suffrage League (ca. 1908) and from the Buffalo Political Equality League (ca. 1905).

Hall, Michael Halbert, Julian Granberry, Hans Gottschalk, Robert Austerlitz, Irven D.J. Bross, William C. Stokoe, Raven I. McDavid, George P. Faust, Elizabeth K. Hewitt, William Fenton, Anthony C. D'Agostino, Robert Stockwell, Clara E. Stratemeyer, Benjamin Scheifer, Charles F. Hockett, Hooshang Mosallai, as well as general correspondence to publishers (Harper and Row, Grolier, Doubleday and Co., M. Evans and Co., Scott-Forstman, et al.) and linguistic associations. Additional material includes information from the Linguistic Society of America (LSA), including executive committee meeting data, correspondence, grants, brochures, directories, and general information. Includes information regarding television and radio work. Also includes U.S. Army language manuals as well as information on education of and correspondence with German POW.

This collection contains the papers of lawyer and legal scholar Herbert Wechsler. The various documentation includes Wechsler's work with the United States Department of Justice (including documents from the Nuremberg and International Military Tribunals), The American Law Institute (including the work of the Model Penal Code), Columbia University, and several other organizations to which Wechsler contributed or with which he was affiliated. The collection also contains papers related to Wechsler's legal work, including documents pertaining to his work on New York Times Co. v. Sullivan. Wechsler's scholarly work is also collected here including drafts of articles, books, speeches, and special lectures such as his Oliver Wendell Holmes Lecture, "Toward Neutral Principles of Constitutional Law". The Herbert Wechsler papers also cover various points of interaction Wechsler had with other figures in his field including Francis Biddle, Telford Taylor, and Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter. The genre of documentation is primarily correspondence, reports, and writings with annotations. The collection also contains some ephemera and photographic materials and one audiocassette.

The H. H. Kung papers document Dr. Kung's political career from 1936 to 1944. The bulk of the papers consist of correspondence and political documents during the time when he was serving as the Minister of Finance, the Governor of the Central Bank of China, and the Vice Premier of the Executive Yuan. Materials in the collection include correspondence, writings, speeches, documents, reports, and telegrams relating to the Xi'an Incident, Sino-Japanese War, financial situation in China during the war year, his involvement in foreign diplomacy, Executive Yuan, the KMT Central committee, etc.

The materials that comprise the Historical Biographical Files have been collected and added to from a variety of sources over the years by current and previous staff. The files consist of materials related to people who have a connection to the University whether as student, alumni, administrator, faculty, staff, guest lecturer, or honorary degree recipient. Materials generally consist of newspaper and magazine clippings, press releases, programs, ephemera, printed matter, lists, reports, and pamphlets.

Papers documenting aspects of the work of the Holocaust Resource Center, and predecessor committees associated with the Jewish Federation. An additional series documents refugee aid, and the Haven-Buffalo Jewish Club 1933, a German-Jewish Refugee social club formed in 1933.

The Huang Fu papers consist of materials relating to Huang Fu's political involvement in the early revolutions, the Coup d'etat of 1924, the Nanking Incident, the Jinan Incident, the Tanggu Truce settlement and its aftermath, dating mostly from 1913 to 1945. Materials included in the papers are correspondence, documents, letters, telegrams, speeches and writings.
