This collection includes approximately 75 stories, several collections of poems, and two novels by Pli︠u︡shkov; there are also about 25 essays by him on literary topics, and a brief autobiography. Photographs are chiefly of Pli︠u︡shkov and his wife. In addition, there is a photocopy of a document concerning the medical treatment given to Maksim Gorḱiĭ in 1887 by Pli︠u︡shkov's father after Gorḱiĭ attempted suicide.
The collection includes correspondence from Konstantin Balḿont, Nikolaĭ Evreĭnov, Zinaida Gippius, Georgiĭ Grebenshchikov, Vasiliĭ Maklakov, Sergeĭ Potresov and Nadezhda Teffi. There is one letter each from Boris Bakhmeteff, Vera Bunina, Aleksandr Grechaninov, Aleksandr Kuprin and Alekseĭ Tolstoĭ. The manuscripts include poems and a play scenario by Nadezhda Teffi as well as Roshchina-Insarova's autobiographical essays and article about Sergeĭ Lifar.́ In addition, there are three scrapbooks containing clippings and programs of Roshchina-Insarova's performances, and approximately 40 photographs of her.
Papers include I︠U︡rév's memoirs"Polkovnik", accompanied by photographs and songs and poems which he wrote; Russian, German and Latvian personal documents; and a two-page memoir by his wife.
These papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, and printed materials. Most of the correspondence concerns Florinsky's publications and editorial work. Among the correspondents are Boris Bakhmeteff, Michael Karpovich, Aleksandr Meyendorff, Bernard Pares, James T. Shotwell, and Dmitriĭ Svi︠a︡topolk-Mirskiĭ: there are one or two items each from John Dewey, Herbert Hoover, Edwin Seligman, and Harry S. Truman. Manuscripts by Florinsky include his "Russia: A Short History" and some minor articles and book reviews. Other manuscripts include a poem by Bernard Pares and a study by Sergeĭ Prokopovich of the Soviet five-year plan of 1946-50; there is also a photograph of Meyendorff. Documents concern Florinsky's career at Columbia and also include book contracts. Printed materials consist chiefly of reviews of his works and reviews he wrote of others' books.

There is a poem and letter drafts by Matviĭchuk, dating from 1945-1973. The arranged manuscripts include a brief memoir by Matviĭchuk entitled "Ushedshee." The essay discusses his family, the Civil War, and life in the Soviet Union during the 1920s. Matviĭchuk left the Soviet Union during World War II, and eventually emigrated to the United States. There is a box of clippings and several boxes of emigre newspapers and journals, many of which contain essays by Matviĭchuk.
Iljinskii 's correspondence, manuscripts, diaries, documents, photographs, and printed material. The correspondence, primarily from the period 1945-1990, includes a large body of letters from Iljinskii to his wife and numerous letters to Iljinskii from such persons as Roman Goul, Valentina Sinkevich, Leonid Rzhevskii The manuscripts consist primarily of handwritten and typescript copies of Iljinskii's essays and humorous poems. Also included are his dissertation and notebooks. The collection includes about 100 photographs mostly of Iljinskii. The printed material consists almost exclusively of books and clippings.
Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs and printed materials of Pavel P. Tutkovskiĭ, including poems, short stories, a historical novel, and music compositions. There is also a short biography of Tutkovskiĭ by his wife, Ekaterina Konstantinovna. Also included are Tutkovskiĭ's personal documents, and several photographs. Printed materials include concert programs, flyers, and reviews, and novels by Tutkovskiĭ, such as "Orden Novykh li︠u︡deĭ" and "Deti komety.".

The autograph albums (owned by Marii︠a︡ A. Berman and Potresov) cover the years 1906-1907 and 1913-1948, respectively, and have entries by Balʹmont, Ivan Bilibin, Bunin, Nabokov, and Maksimili︠a︡n Voloshin, among others. The manuscripts include a poem by Mother Marii︠a︡ and articles, diaries, and a play by Potresov. The printed materials primarily consist of clippings of Potresov's articles in newspapers and journals. In addition to the loose clippings, there are six scrapbooks with clippings of Potresov's articles pasted in.
Most of the collection concerns the Russian emigration in interwar Europe; a sizeable part deals with the Kadet (Constitutional Democrat) Party in the Russian Civil War. There is correspondence, manuscripts, subject files, photographs, and printed materials. There are many letters by liberal figures, such as Astrov, Viktor Chelishchev, Petr I︠U︡renev, Aleksandr Kizevetter, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Vladimir D. Nabokov, Vladimir Obolenskiĭ, Panina, and Ivan Petrunkevich. There are also letters from Ivan Bilibin, Alice Masaryk, and Thomas Masaryk. Manuscripts are chiefly by Astrov, and include memoirs, poems, and lectures. There are also memoirs by Panina, and eulogies by various people on Astrov. Subject files from 1917-1920 have materials on Panina's arrest and trial by the Bolsheviks, Kadet conferences, protocols of meetings of the Kadet Party central committee, and other items. Files on the emigration deal with the Russkiĭ Ochag (Russian Hearth) and other bodies, especially in Czechoslovakia. There are photographs of Astrov, Kizevetter, Nikodim Kondakov, Alice Masaryk, Panina, and others. Printed materials include books, clippings, and offprints by Astrov and others.
