International Missionary Council was established in 1921. It linked missionary councils to discuss issues such as the missionary obligation of the church, theological education, and the ecumenical movement. Associated with the World Council of Churches in 1939, in 1961, it was integrated with WCC as its Commission on World Mission and Evangelism. Collection contains documents, correspondence, pamphlets and photographs relating to the formation and development of the organization.

This collection contains materials for missionary personnel compiled by the Missionary Research Library, including studies on preparation, recruitment, psychological testing and turnover of missionary personnel, as well as handbooks and instruction manuals for missionaries.

This collection contains copies of handwritten and typed reports, in German, from the Rheinische Missionsgesellschaft (Rhenish Missionary Society) missionaries located in Southern Africa, Borneo, Sumatra, Nias and New Guinea.

Young Mens and Womens Christian Associations founded as a response to unhealthy social and living conditions in cities at the end of the Industrial Revolution. Collection includes reports, correspondence, minutes, and pamphlets from YMCA and YWCA branches around the world.
