The collection consists of diaries, documents, a map of the Zmievskiĭ uezd of the Kharkov region, and printed materials. Diaries by Onopko cover the Civil War period from March 13, 1920 to March 25, 1922, and span from his service in the Kharkov area to his emigration to Prague. The diaries also concern Onopko's years in emigration in France from 1930-1944. Documents are mostly from the Civil War period. Printed materials consist of a clipping and printed drawing.

The collection consists of correspondence, a diary, manuscripts, memoirs, notes, a subject file, photographs and printed materials. Correspondence is primarilly addressed to Orlov and his wife. Manuscripts and memoirs, chiefly by Orlov, deal with Civil War topics. Orlov's diary covers the years 1918-1921. Notes are on World War II, and the subject file concerns the death of Orlov. Photographs include a group picture of a Gallipoli Society meeting in Prague. Printed materials include clippings, mimeographed materials, pamphlets and copies of periodicals, all relating to the Gallipoli Society.

The collection consists of correspondence, a manuscript of the P.O.W. journal "Alibudér" in France, a subject file on the Turgenev Library, documents, picture postcards, and printed materials. Correspondence consists of letters and postcards to and from Palćhevskiĭ. There is one letter from Vladimir Burt︠s︡ev. Documents are Palćhevskiĭ's and include passports and affidavits, mostly from France. Picture postcards are primarily on historical topics. Printed materials include mainly clippings and programs. Cataloged letters are from Vladimir Burt︠s︡ev and Sergeĭ Svatikov.

Most of the collection concerns the Russian emigration in interwar Europe; a sizeable part deals with the Kadet (Constitutional Democrat) Party in the Russian Civil War. There is correspondence, manuscripts, subject files, photographs, and printed materials. There are many letters by liberal figures, such as Astrov, Viktor Chelishchev, Petr I︠U︡renev, Aleksandr Kizevetter, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Vladimir D. Nabokov, Vladimir Obolenskiĭ, Panina, and Ivan Petrunkevich. There are also letters from Ivan Bilibin, Alice Masaryk, and Thomas Masaryk. Manuscripts are chiefly by Astrov, and include memoirs, poems, and lectures. There are also memoirs by Panina, and eulogies by various people on Astrov. Subject files from 1917-1920 have materials on Panina's arrest and trial by the Bolsheviks, Kadet conferences, protocols of meetings of the Kadet Party central committee, and other items. Files on the emigration deal with the Russkiĭ Ochag (Russian Hearth) and other bodies, especially in Czechoslovakia. There are photographs of Astrov, Kizevetter, Nikodim Kondakov, Alice Masaryk, Panina, and others. Printed materials include books, clippings, and offprints by Astrov and others.

The papers consist of correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, a subject file, and printed materials. The correspondence includes a letter from Randall Thomas Davidson, Archbishop of Canterbury, and one from Nikolaĭ Roerich. There is an essay about Metropolitan Platon by I︠O︡ann Chepelev, and a number of photographs depicting church officials and White army leaders. There is a subject file concerning Platon's meeting in 1919 with President Wilson. The collection also contains articles and clippings by and about the Metropolitan, and there are several books and pamphlets as well. The materials were collected by his daughter and grandson; many of the items are photocopies.

Poli︠a︡nin's typescript and manuscript memoirs concern his military experiences in World War I, and the emigration in Bulgaria between the wars. In Bulgaria Poli︠a︡nin worked with the Russkai︠a︡ Akademicheskai︠a︡ Gruppa (Russian Academic Group) and the Obʺedinennye Komitety Soi︠u︡z Gorodov i Zemstv (United Committees of the Union of Cities and Zemstva). Also included are newspaper clippings and a theatre program on silk (Feodosii︠a︡, 1903).

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, subject files and printed material. The correspondence is primarily from the 1920s and includes letters from G. E. Lv́ov and S. P. Mel'gunov and one or two items each from M. A. Aldanov, I. A. Bunin, N. V. Chaikovskii, A. L. Tolstaiia, V. F. Zeeler and others. The manuscripts are primarily in the form of notes in Polner's hand and include Polner's diary from the years 1919-1925. The documents belong to Tikhon Polner's brother, Sergei, and deal with the latter's expulsion from the USSR in 1921. There is extensive material in the subject files on the writings of Lev Tolstoĭ, including typescript copies of several Tolstoi manuscripts and clippings of the reviews of Polner's book on Tolstoi. Also included is a photograph of A. I. Herzen from the 1850s.

The collection includes correspondence, memoirs, organizational records, and printed materials. The correspondence -- which covers the 1923-1963 period -- concerns the activities of a number of emigre Cossack groups, scout groups and anti-Communist organizations throughout Europe, Canada and the United States. There is a two volume memoir written by P.P. Cherepanov, a member of the Tiflis Cadet Corps. The organizational records include accounts, membership lists, poems and songs, protocols and receipts, chiefly for the Tiflis Cadet Corps. Among the printed materials are issues of emigre and Cossack publications (such as "Bodrost,́" "Mikhaĭlovt︠s︡y" and "Rodimyĭ kraĭ") and ten folders of clippings about Cossack events and members. One of the scrapbooks contains guest lists of various events, clippings and photographs (including photographs from the filming of a 1920s production of "Khadzhi Murat"), while the other scrapbook has records of Cossack events and a number of original watercolors.

There are letters from Mark Aldanov, Ivan Bunin, Antonin Ladinskiĭ, Vasiliĭ Nemirovich-Danchenko, Alekseĭ Remizov, Ivan Shmelev, Nadezhda Teffi and Boris Zaĭt︠s︡ev, as well as one letter each from Konstantin Balʹmont, Aleksandr Grechaninov, Vladislav Khodasevich, Aleksandr Kuprin, and Vladimir Nabokov. The autograph albums (owned by Marii︠a︡ A. Berman and Potresov) cover the years 1906-1907 and 1913-1948, respectively, and have entries by Balʹmont, Ivan Bilibin, Bunin, Nabokov, and Maksimili︠a︡n Voloshin, among others. The manuscripts include a poem by Mother Marii︠a︡ and articles, diaries, and a play by Potresov. The printed materials primarily consist of clippings of Potresov's articles in newspapers and journals. In addition to the loose clippings, there are six scrapbooks with clippings of Potresov's articles pasted in.

The collection includes correspondence, photographs, manuscripts and printed materials. There are letters from Ekaterina Kuskova (Mrs. S.N. Prokopovich) and photographs of Mark Aldanov, Marie Curie, Aleksandra Kollontaĭ, Ekaterina Kuskova, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Mikhail Osorgin, Sergeĭ Prokopovich and Nadezhda Teffi among others. The manuscripts include drafts and typescripts for several dozen articles and chapters as well as untitled manuscripts and notes. The printed materials contain clippings and offprints of articles by Prokopovich, periodicals he edited, and copies of his major books.
