The UB Archives houses the historically valuable records of the State University of New York at Buffalo and its predecessor, the University of Buffalo (1846-1962). The Archives collects, organizes and maintains the records of UB academic departments and administrative offices, along with all university and student publications. The Archives also collects the private papers of administrators, faculty members and other individuals associated with UB.

Novitsky, Anthony W. (Anthony William)
Papers either produced or collected by Anthony Novitsky that document opposition to the Vietnamese Conflict. A number of organizations are represented. Also included is an oral history interview taped by Christopher Densmore, University Archives, July 25, 1978 that covers Novitsky's activities in the Catholic peace movement, the anti-war movement in Buffalo, and his recollections of various individuals and organizations in Buffalo during the late 1960s and early 1970s.

Records include administrative documents, correspondence, subject files, extensive resource libraries, habitability/environmental studies, litigation, and documentation on other local toxic waste sites.

Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo
The collection of Jewish Community Center (JCC) of Greater Buffalo and Summer Camps Records contains a wide range of material, dominated by photographs and program-related materials for the JCC, Camp Lakeland and Camp Centerland. Also, contains correspondence, reports, publications, newsletters, and handwritten documents. An additional three other collections are included: annual Jewish community book fair records; Jewish Film Festival and Jewish Repertory Theatre records.

Papers of Joanne L. Schweik concerning her activities as Vice President for Public Relations of the New York Branch of the National Organization for Women (NOW) and as editor of the NOW New York State newsletter. Included are correspondence, local branch newsletters, council meeting minutes and newspaper clippings. Also included is a photocopy of the transcript for the Equal Rights Amendment hearings before the New York State Senate Judiciary Committee on March 11, 1975.
