The Robert Frederic Metzdorf papers (1854-1975) consist of the personal and professional papers of the eponymous one-time RBSCP director, largely focusing on his life and work in academia, correspondence with colleagues and family, and his personal and professional writing.

The Jean S. Lindsay Papers contain three series: Career, Community, and Family Papers. The Career series includes typescripts, manuscripts, correspondence, research, notes, and photographs relating, with only a few exceptions, to Lindsay's work at the Watson Archives (1980-1982). The Community series consists chiefly of correspondence and notes for the Now Nameless Bibliophiles group and a small amount of material relating to the Friends of the University of Rochester Libraries (1980s). The Family Papers series contains photographs, diaries, memorabilia, newspaper clippings, and research relating primarily to Jean S. Lindsay's paternal ancestors (the Lindsay, Hatch, and Curtice families) and her maternal ancestors (the Courter and Sampson families).

The Isadore Gilbert Mudge Collection includes correspondence, writing, and publications related to Isadore Gilbert Mudge (1875 –1957) and her career as a reference librarian at Columbia from 1911 to 1941.

The papers include correspondence to her mother, Mrs. Charles Duncan, while she was abroad on purchasing trips for the Sibley Music Library. Also included are essays concerning: her European buying trips; Philip Hale, the music critic; Anthony Philip Heinrich, the American composer; a critique of Irving Babbitt's article "New Laokoon: An Essay on the Confusion of the Arts"; and French melodrama.
