Hudson Area Association Library
The collection consists of VHS and tape cassettes of oral histories of local black residents and the research notes and other supporting documentation about topics of research. These files are associated with the Black Legacy Association of Columbia County (BLACC) Oral History Project and may have been maintained for the preparation of the interviews conducted from 1987 to 1989. The files include legal agreements, letters, newspaper clippings, magazine articles, book chapters, organization publications, and photographs. They also represent, in some cases, photographs and other memorabilia donated to the project by the interviewees.

It includes music written by Donald Miller, materials from his years as a music professor at Onondaga Community College, and his research material on composer Kirke Mechem, the subject of his doctoral dissertation.

Material created and collected by Michael Merson, documenting his leadership at the World Health Organization's Global Programme on AIDS (GPA). The bulk consists of copies of WHO correspondence, reports, meeting minutes, speeches, press releases, publications and other printed material, in addition to interview transcripts and sound recordings conducted by Merson for the use in book, The AIDS pandemic: searching for a global response (2018), co-authored with Stephen Inrig.
