There are also copies of letters by Gerua from the Far East at the time of the Russo-Japanese War. Also included are manuscripts by Gerua and by Nikolaĭ Rotshteĭn; sketches by Gerua of participants in the 1926 Zarubezhnyĭ Sʺezd (Congress Abroad) in Paris; and photographs.

400 itemsThe collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, memoirs, minutes of meetings, documents, maps, photographs, and printed materials, mostly relating to World War I. Correspondence, mostly to Owie, includes a letter from Grand Duke Gavriĭl Konstantinovich. Memoirs are by Sergeĭ Konoplev concerning World War I, and manuscripts appear to be by Owie on the war and anti-Communist topics. Minutes are from the Society of Officers of the 3rd Infantry Regiment of the Life Guard (Leĭb-Gvardiĭ 3-iĭ strelkovyĭ polk). Maps, documents, and photographs deal mostly with Owie's service during World War I. Among the photographs is one of Nicholas II from 1913.

15000 itemsROVS North America (ROVS-N.A.) Records consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, organizational records, subject files, and printed materials. There are also papers of the Paris-based Sovet Rossiiskogo Zarubezhnogo Voinstva (Council of the Russian Military Abroad) and other emigre military and political organizations active in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and South America. The cataloged correspondence includes letters by Evgenii Miller, Nikolai Tsurikov, Aleksandr Kutepov and other emigre figures and by Richard Nixon, Lyndon Johnson, Barry Goldwater and other prominent American politicians. Arranged correspondence series consist of general office files, Paris-New York files, correspondence of Aleksei von Lampe and Vladimir Vitkovskii and topical correspondence files. Among the manuscripts are short articles and reminiscences by various people. There are photographs of Evgenii Miller, Nicholas II and of emigre organizational gatherings during the 1950s and 1960s. The organizational records include circulars, bulletins, orders, memoranda, reports, publications and financial records for ROVS and the Sovet Rossiiskogo Zarubezhnogo Voinstva. Subject files concern such topics as the Elisavetgrad Military Academy, the Union of the First Kuban Campaign, the Gallipoli societies, the Ingermanlandskii Regiment and the Russian Anti-Communist Center in New York. The printed materials include a book by Boris Kuznetsov and publications and circulars from other emigre organizations.
Semenovskii Polk Records, 1720-1967
7500 itemsThe bulk of the collection concerns the last three decades of the Regiment's existence and the emigration. Cataloged items consist of 3 photographs of Tsar Nicholas II and a receipt signed by one Captain Lanta, dated 1720. The correspondence is almost all after 1917. The manuscripts include a history of the Regiment from its formation and some other historical pieces by Viktor I. Meshchaninov. Most of the other manuscripts -- chiefly officers' memoirs -- concern the period of WWI, the Revolution, and the Civil War. Of other materials relating to the Imperial epoch, mention may be made of the lists of members of the Regiment since its formation compiled by some regimental historian; biographical sketches of many officers; field orders, topographical maps, certificates awarding medals, etc. The Association of former officers generated much material: accounts, minutes, souvenirs of commemorative dinners, etc. A rich store of photographs forms part of the collection. These include both individual and group portraits of members of the Regiment and of the Imperial family. Especially fine photos of the last 2 tsars, their families, and various urban landscapes are found in the album "Photographies du comte Nostitz.".
Sergei Sergeevich Belosel'skii-Belozerskii Papers, 1700-1968
34 linear feetin 1792-1793. There are documents relating to several members of the Beloselśkiĭ-Belozerskiĭ family. The part of the collection concerning the Horse Guards primarily relates to emigre activities in Europe and America during the 1930s. The materials include manuscripts for a history of the Guards, biographical sketches, minutes, newsletters, orders and several hundred photographs, many of which date back to the mid 19th century. Among the printed materials are journals, illustrations and a number of scrapbooks. The collection also contains several dozen oversized albums, illustrations, documents and photographs.
Soiuz Pazhei Records, 1830-1970
2650 itemsLists, subject files, photographs, etchings and printed materials relating to the Pazheskii Korpus (imperial Corps of Pages), a school for the sons of the Russian nobility founded in 1802, and the Soiuz Pazhei (Union of Pages), the emigré alumni organization founded in 1920. The materials were collected by representatives of the Union of Pages. The collection consists chiefly of mimeographed newsletters, books, printed mementoes, such as programs, menus, tickets, and school forms, and of pictorial materials, especially photographs and etchings. The great majority of the materials pertain to the Imperial Corps of Pages and to Russia's imperial family, and include many unusual photographs portraying school life and the life of the family of Nicholas II. There are also old photographs of Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Tsarskoe Selo, printed reports of the State Council for 1894-99, newsletters published by the Union of Pages and miscellaneous Russian and foreign publications, originally part of the library of the museum of the Union of Pages in Paris.
Vladimir A. Kamenskii Memoirs, 1920-1974
10 itemsManuscript and typescript memoirs (in all 600 p.) that deal chiefly with Kamenskiĭ's military education, the imperial court, his service during World War I, his service as General Petr Wrangel's diplomatic courier in 1921-24, and the emigration in France. Part of the manuscripts on World War I consists of copies of his diary. Some hand-drawn maps, photographs, and six copies of the bulletin of the organization of veterans of the Jaeger Regiment complete the collection.
