The Cybis Porcelain Records contain business records, correspondence, catalogs, publications, etc. of the American porcelain manufacturer.
- Biographical / Historical:
Cybis Porcelain, makers of fine china statuary and other pieces, was started in the 1920s by Boleslaw Cybis, a Lithuanian artist. Today Cybis porcelains are given as gifts of state and found in the permanent collections of museums, embassies, government buildings and art galleries around the world. - Acquisition information:
- Gift of Joseph Chorlton, 1968-1970. All but three of the boxes were returned to Cybis on February 16, 1971.
