The collection contains correspondence, organizational documents, background papers and newspaper clippings of the activities of the association. The collection also consists of original artifacts, photographs, and ephemera from the school.

Correspondence and reports on drill borings made on the Oswego Canal

The stocks represented in this collection were sold to aid the Oswego River Starch Company of Battle Island, New York [1858], and the Oswego Hotel Corporation of Oswego County [1911]. The most significant part of this collection are the imprints of the Oswego River Starch Company in the 1850’s.

The Save Our Shores papers contain correspondence, minutes of the group meetings, and petitions produced by the organization. The papers also include press releases, newspaper clippings, and pamphlets on the group's activities. These papers represent the significance of public interest groups in preserving their surroundings.

Papers relating the years Dr. Charles S. Turner was affiliated with Oswego State College. Dr. Turner was college dean, acting college president, director of education and department chairman. Papers include correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs and memorandums.

A 21-page scrapbook was created by Violet King Sherman. A decorative scrapbook cover has embossed colorful images of birds and flowers. The scrapbook contains 160 postcards, calling cards, advertising cards and artistic images.

Professional collection of Dr. Virginia Radley, the eighth president of SUNY Oswego. Dr. Radley, the first woman president of a state-operated campus in the SUNY system, led the way to bolstering Oswego’s strong commitment to academic quality.
