This collection consists of materials documenting David Diamond's activities in local government, Diamond's career at the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and matters of personal interest to Diamond. The latter material includes regarding the Nuremberg trials following World War II and a transcript of a speech given by Diamond opposing the tactics of Senator Joseph McCarthy.

Papers of Jacob D. Hyman, lawyer and Dean of the University of Buffalo Law School, 1953-1964. Includes papers relating to Hyman's activities with the Citizen's Council on Human Relations and related civil rights activities in the Buffalo area.

Collection includes materials regarding the Law School Faculty's resolution in September 1988 on non-discrimination, particularly regarding recruitment and the resulting ban of military and government recruiters who were believed to discriminate in the areas of sexual orientation, age and disabilities, and a resolution passed in October 1987 on intellectual freedom, intolerance and harassment.
