The Zwack and Sons Funeral Home was established in 1894 by John Zwack. In the beginning the business name was Zwack Funeral Home. Then in 1916 his son joined the business changing the name to Zwack & Son Funeral Home, then his other son (Raymond) joined the business, and they changed the name to Zwack & Sons Funeral Home. At some point in time, possibly between 1990 and 2010 the Zwack Funeral Home was taken over by the Scott & Barbieri funeral Home chain , but they continue to keep their original name. This collection contains bills receipts, cemetery plot deeds, and receipt confirmation cards.

Szajkowski, Zosa, 1911-1978
This collection contains an eclectic variety of materials collected by Jewish historian, archivist, and bibliographer Zosa Szajkowski (1911-1978). Materials include organizational records, documents, correspondence, periodicals, printed ephemera related to Eastern European Jewish life in France in 1920s and 1930s and on the territories of modern Ukraine, Lithuania, Poland and Russia in the first quarter of the 20th century.

The majority of the contents of this collection are letters the Wells Canteener women sent home from abroad. The remainder of the collection contains newspaper articles which describe their work and living conditions, as well as the article entitled The Y Girl in the Leave Area.

The collection includes the works of various artist during WW1 on posters of various sizes and detail. The collection includes a lot of posters from organizations like the Y.W.C.A, American Red Cross, and Edwards & Deutsch. The collection also includes a lot of representation from artists James Daugherty, W.T. Benda, Haskell Coffin, James Montgomery, and Howard Chandler Christy. Many of the posters reflect the ideals of the people who made them, highlighting their thoughts on third party bonds, sexism, the recruitment of women and teenage girls, and donations toward weaponry.

The Works Progress Administration was a federal relief project of the Great Depression era. The Writer' Project provided work for people involved in creative or administrative work by doing writing and or research heavy tasks. The Place Names project involved cataloging and documenting the origins of place names. Materials in this collection include half-sheets of paper with geographical information. They record geographical, political, historical, and geological facts for the counties of Allegheny, Chemung, Livingston, Monroe, Ontario, Schuyler, Seneca, Steuben, Wayne, and Yates, and their towns, cities, and villages. The materials date from the late 1930s.

The Helping Hand Seal and Stamp Club, later the Women’s Stamp and Seal Club, was formed in 1936 by two friends, Mrs. George J. Skinner and Mrs. William Weigman. This collection includes minute books, photographs, newspaper clippings, programs, copies of stamps, constitution, and by-laws, correspondences, member information, meeting announcements, AIHA pamphlets, poems by members, Albany Academy history, award ribbons, a Loving Cup inscribed “Women’s Seal and Stamp Club of Albany,” NY Grand Award arch 26, 1946, three ink stamps, one “Elm Tree” die, painting of the “Elm Tree.”
