Historian Thomas Ebert donated seven black and white images of officers from the 147th Regiment New York Volunteers. Officers include: Captain John McKinlock, Company A; First Lieutenant George Huginin, Company A; Captain Delos Gary, Company G; Second Lieutenant Volney J. Pierce, Company G; Major H.H. Lyman; Captain George Harney, Company B; Francis C. Miller.

Aaron Shurin is a poet, scholar, and essayist. He is the author of more than a dozen books, a professor emeritus at the University of San Francisco, and recipient of several fellowships and awards including the National Endowment for the Arts, the California Arts Council, and the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Men's Memoir/Biography. Shurin earned a BA at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied with poet Denise Levertov, and an MA in poetics at the New College of California. His published poetry include Paradise of Forms (1999), Involuntary Lyrics (2005), and Citizen (2012). His prose work includes volumes of essays and criticism including Unbound: a Book of AIDS (1997) and The Skin of Meaning: Collected Literary Essays and Talks (2016). The Aaron Shurin Collection, 1955-2012 consists of correspondence, manuscripts, notebooks and journals, and coursework related to his time at New College of California, where he studied with Robert Duncan.

The Aaron White Papers contain land documents such as land surveys, assessment rolls, maps, notes, descriptions of lands, lists of some sections of the Delphi Cemetery in Delphi Falls, New York, and an aerial photograph of Cazenovia, New York; educational documents such as calculation examples and notes from a geometry lesson; administrative records such as annual records from the M.E. Church in Cazenovia, New York; floorplans from an unidentified building; and various estate records.

Included are excerpts from the book The Real Mrs. Miniver, a biography of Dolt's first wife the renowned author Jan Struther, written by her granddaughter Ysenda Maxtone Graham. A chapter in the book about Dolt's stay in London after he left Vienna makes reference to his poetry. Dolt's play Henry V as well as his short novel Traumfardt Mit Der Familie ("Dream-Journey With The Family") are translated from their original German by my father Paul Stern, Dolt's lifelong friend and brother-in-law; (in 1951,Dolt's sister Susan and Paul were married). Paul's career as a translator included working with Pulitzer Prize winning poet W.D. Snodgrass on Gallows Songs as well as with Maurice Sendak and Lore Segal on their book The Juniper Tree and other Tales From Grimm.

The Alan Horvath Collection is mainly composed of correspondence saved from the mid-1970s until Horvath's death in 2010. The collection also contains a small selection of publications, ephemera, and business records relating to three of Alan Horvath's presses: Falling Down Press, Mostly Broken Scabs Press, and Kirpan Press. Additionally, there are selected manuscripts of Horvath's own poetry, writing from high school and college courses, recordings of poetry readings, a piece of artwork, and other personal documents and effects.

New York organized a war council in 1940 to coordinate war-related efforts for local, state, and national defense during World War II. Beginning initially as a women’s organization, the Albany City and County War Council was formed in 1941 to coordinate efforts for the towns within Albany County. This collection contains administrative records, campaigns and projects efforts, publicity records, and index cards containing information on servicemen and women.

Although not an active runner, George Mahar was the founder, president, coach and primary organizer of the Albany Mercury Club.

This collection is composed of letters written by brothers Albert and Garrett Vander Veer to family members. Garrett and Albert were the fifth and seventh children, respectively, of Abraham Harris and Sarah (Martin) Vander Veer and were officers in the Union Army during the American Civil War. The majority of the letters are addressed to the Vander Veer’s sister and brother-in-law, Esther and John Craig.

The Albert Leffingwell Collection was originally well preserved and well organized by Leffingwell himself. The correspondence and other documents reveal the state of animal rights and mental healthcare in the U.S. in the Victorian era. The scope of the collection is wide, ranging from some early settlement claims in Aurora, NY to the grounds eye view of the Russian Revolution of 1905 and the persecution of Jews in Warsaw.

Alex Goldfarb Collection consists of correspondence, records, printed matters, and photos related to the Boris Berezovsky foundation. Just a brief descriprion of two programs reflected in these records: From 1998 to 2001 an epidemic of drug-resistant TB ravaged the Russian prison system. Goldfarb directed a program by the Public Health Research Institute (PHRI) in New York to combat TB in Russian prisons. The program was funded by a $13 million grant from George Soros. The Archive includes documents and correspondence between Goldfarb and PHRI Moscow office, officials of the Soros Foundation, the Russian Federal Prison Administration, Dr. Paul Farmer of Harvard Medical School and Jim Yong Kim of the World Bank, among others.

The American Art Association, a New York art gallery and auction house, was founded in 1883 by James F. Sutton, R. Austin Robertson, and Thomas E. Kirby. The American Symphony Orchestra is a New York-based orchestra whose mission is to renew live orchestral music as a vital force in contemporary American culture. At Bard College, the ASO appears in an annual winter subscription series at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, and also takes part in the Bard Music Festival and SummerScape. This collection includes organizational files including papers relating to the founding of ASO and historical financial and corporate documents. The collection also contains miscellaneous ephemera relating to ASO including stagebills; advertising flyers; news releases; and reviews. RPI Professor Edward R. Cary's "A Short Lecture Course on the Construction of Diagrams for The Div. B - C.E. Students at R.P.I." Cary was RPI Professor of Surveying and Railroad Engineering, and his typescript lists the kinds of diagrams presented in the course, such as comparison and conversion diagrams, alignment diagrams, and logarithmic diagrams.

The collection comprises Asta Aristova's writings and materials related to scoutism. Writings include autobiographical essays and articles, mainly about Aristova's experiences travelling in the Soviet Union, and her memoirs about life in Germany 1945-1949 "Chto sokhranila pamiat'".
