Alex Goldfarb Collection consists of correspondence, records, printed matters, and photos related to the Boris Berezovsky foundation. Just a brief descriprion of two programs reflected in these records: From 1998 to 2001 an epidemic of drug-resistant TB ravaged the Russian prison system. Goldfarb directed a program by the Public Health Research Institute (PHRI) in New York to combat TB in Russian prisons. The program was funded by a $13 million grant from George Soros. The Archive includes documents and correspondence between Goldfarb and PHRI Moscow office, officials of the Soros Foundation, the Russian Federal Prison Administration, Dr. Paul Farmer of Harvard Medical School and Jim Yong Kim of the World Bank, among others.

This collection includes approximately 75 unique poems by Allen Tobias, including multiple drafts of some, which incorporate of Ginsberg's suggestions. Ginsberg's annotations include word changes, adjustments to line breaks, questions, suggestions about structure, additional lines, and general supportive comments. In addition, there is Tobias' research file on Ginsberg.

This collection contains material from Alpha Beat, an independent press publishing Beat generation and Beat-inspired work. Included are manuscripts, advertisements, reviews, and production material for monographic and periodical publications.

The majority of the contents of this collection are Amanda Pope’s composition papers from various English classes. The remainder of the collection contains copies of The Chronicle, material from the Junior play “Here Again, Gone Again Cardigan,” images of Amanda Pope, and profiles of alumnae.

The American Art Association, a New York art gallery and auction house, was founded in 1883 by James F. Sutton, R. Austin Robertson, and Thomas E. Kirby. The records date from 1877-1924, but the bulk of the material documents a selection of auction sales run by the gallery from 1910 through 1923. The collection contains correspondence, approximately 1,000 photographs, handwritten and typed notes, fragments of a typed manuscript on the American Art Association, and printed material.

This collection contains correspondence, meeting minutes, council records, and committee reports from the American Association of University Professors from the 1910s through the 1960s.

The American Symphony Orchestra is a New York-based orchestra whose mission is to renew live orchestral music as a vital force in contemporary American culture. Under the direction of Leon Botstein ASO pursues innovation in concert presentation and is devoted to the promotion of musical education. At Bard College, the ASO appears in an annual winter subscription series at the Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts, and also takes part in the Bard Music Festival and SummerScape. This collection includes organizational files including papers relating to the founding of ASO and historical financial and corporate documents. The collection also contains miscellaneous ephemera relating to ASO including stagebills; advertising flyers; news releases; and reviews. The collection was given to the Archives by Lynne Meloccaro (BArd class of 1985, executive director of the ASO) through Leon Botstein.
