Survey of Significant Interiors, 1984-1985 2 manuscript boxes
The Significant Interiors Survey (1984-1985) was conducted by The Junior League of the City of New York, Inc. in an effort to document interior spaces of significant buildings in New York City. The collection contains the surveys conducted by The Junior League as well as colored slides of the 14 buildings. The buildings represented include American Telephone & Telegraph Company Building, Carnegie Hill School, Charles Scribner Residence, The Cloisters, Hotel Plaza. The Jewish Museum, Manhattan Country School, Moran's Chelsea, New York Public Library's Main Branch Building, Saks Fifth Avenue, Salmagundi Club, St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church, Sunar Hauserman Showroom, and the Trump Tower. The collection also contains a copy of "Preserving a Fragile Art: A Manual for Surveying Significant Interiors" published by the American Society of Interior Designers and the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission.
Susan B. Anthony Collection, 1830-2006 1.0 Cubic Feet
The collection is in four sections. The first (box 1) contains miscellaneous letters written by Susan B. Anthony (ten original letters and approximately seventy typescripts made by Alma Lutz while doing research for her book Susan B. Anthony: Rebel, Crusader, Humanitarian, Boston, 1959). The letters date from 1870 to 1905. Here also are typescripts of letters from Miss Anthony to her housekeeper, friend and occasional secretary Anne E. Dann Mason (31 letters) and a copy of Mrs. Mason's reminiscences of Susan B. Anthony.
Susan B. Anthony papers, 1837 - 1998, bulk 1890 - 1945 2.5 cubic feet
The Susan Brownell Anthony Papers consist mainly of Anthony's letters to Harriet Taylor Upton, a prominent Ohio suffragist who spent much of her time working in political circles to secure the vote for women. Most of the letters were written between 1889 and 1893 and discuss Mrs. Upton's efforts to secure Congressional support for the cause of women's suffrage.

This collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, draft reports, and related materials pertaining to Susan Perry's work on a Federal Aviation Administration (1979-1980) and the NASA Transition Team for President-Elect Ronald Reagan (1980). Also included are an RPI Mathematics and Science medal, and a City of Troy bicentennial medal encased in lucite (1989). Note: Susan Perry later went by the name of Susan Stetson Clarke.

The documents in this collection span the inter-war years but cluster around the 1930-1936 period when Pribičeviʹc was living in exile in France and Czechoslovakia. They consist primarily of correspondence, police reports, foreign mission dossiers, clippings and speeches and shed light on Pribičeviʹc's public life. These materials are part of the holdings of the archives of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the National Museum and the Office of the President of the Republic, and were microfilmed in 1967 at the request of Stoyan Pribichevich, the son of Svetozar Pribičeviʹc.

Personal letters written by Phoenix to friends and associates, and letters which Phoenix collected as autograph specimens, ranging in date from 1554 (Melanchthon) to 1933 (Franklin D. Roosevelt). Over half of Phoenix's own letters are addressed to Josiah Collins Pumpelly (1839-1920), many others are to Henry Thayer Drowne (1822-1897). The material is dated from various places in the United States and Europe and contains accounts of Phoenix's travels and comments on yachting, books, the theater, and friends. There is a series of Presidential letters ranging from Washington to Franklin D. Roosevelt. Also, an engraved portrait of Phoenix.

Sydney Carlyle Cockerell Letters, 1946-1958 1 folder (SC)
A leather portfolio embossed with "Sydney Fromkes, 1910-1927" on the front, containing student work from the brief time Fromkes attended Parsons School of Design before his death in 1927 at the age of 17. The portfolio contains theatrical costume drawings, poems, and other writings. There are also a few clippings of pieces Fromkes wrote for "The Leveler."

This collection contains architectural drawings, and some supplementary archival materials, for buildings primarily designed or altered by Sylvan Bien alone or in partnership with his son, Robert L. Bien. Most of the projects represented in this collection are apartment buildings located in New York City, particularly on the Upper East Side, with some work in surrounding regions and states. In several cases, drawings by the original architect for buildings later altered or studied by Bien are also included in this collection. Lastly, a small group of drawings created by Robert Bien while with Eggers Group is also included.
