The Wells College Archives, located on the third floor of the Louis Jefferson Long Library, houses material documenting the history of Wells College from 1868 to the present. In addition to many collections, the Archives is also home to a growing collection of senior theses.

The Tano Jodai Japanese Women's College Collection primarily contains letters between Jane Morgan, Eleanor Martin, and Tano Jodai, relating to the history of Wells College and its interactions with the Japanese Women's College University from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s. The collection also contains numerous newspaper clippings and additional miscellaneous items related to each of the colleges and their histories together.

This collection contains the Round Robin letters from the Wells College class of 1936, as well as information concerning how the letters were started and how long they continued. The letters that Wells have start in 1948 and continue through 1994. The collection also contains photographs related to the writers of the letters.

The William Weld papers cover years 1935-1950, including his interaction and communications with other colleges, people of distinction in academia and his personal connections with those that influenced his life and his presidency at Wells College. Also included in the papers are Henry Stebbins' correspondence with President Weld, as Finance member and Board of Trustee. Mr. Stebbins contributed heavily to President Weld's administration and direction of Wells College during his presidency and later into the early 1950's.

The majority of the contents of this collection are Amanda Pope’s composition papers from various English classes. The remainder of the collection contains copies of The Chronicle, material from the Junior play “Here Again, Gone Again Cardigan,” images of Amanda Pope, and profiles of alumnae.
