Prenting, Theodore
U.S. Hoffman was the successor company to what started out as the Hoffman Pressing Machine Company in Syracuse, NY in 1904. By the 1930s, the U.S. Hoffman Machinery Corp was one of the largest producers of a full line of laundry and dry cleaning machinery in the United States. In 1936, U.S. Hoffman opened a new plant in Poughkeepsie, NY, while maintaining their main plant in Syracuse. The U.S. Hoffman Machinery Corporation Records consists of production and promotional documents, letters, photographs, audiovisual material, U.S. Navy and government correspondence, an Army-Navy “E” Award pennant, and munitions relating to the business of the U.S. Hoffman Machinery Corporation once located in Poughkeepsie,

Thomas Steininger
This collection contains various mementos collected by Thomas Steininger throughout his years with the Marist Brothers in St. Ann’s Hermitage. Included in the collection are pamphlets, letters and various religious mementos from the Marist Brothers.

Gerard A. Cox
Gerard A. Cox worked with students as a theatre advisor and director since the late 1960s, teaching the history of theatre and performance arts, writing, and working with students on theatrical projects. He served as the director of student theatre programs, conducting the college's annual student playwriting competition, organizing Marist's annual festival of student written plays and serving as the faculty advisor to the students' theatre organization (MCCTA). The Student Theatre Collection consists of plays, both amateur (student) written plays and professional theatre productions.

Stewart Newburgh Airport
Although Stewart International Airport was originally an air force base, it was deactivated in 1970 and began running commercial airlines in 1989. This called for changes and an administration to oversee the running of the airport; thus the Stewart Master Plan and Stewart Airport Commission were born. This collection contains various papers, reports, correspondence, and clippings from these two areas.

Stanley Becchetti
Stanley Becchetti entered Marist College as a freshman in 1962 and graduated in 1966. The Stanley Becchetti collection consists of memorabilia from his years as a student at Marist, such as newspapers, admissions material and student resident handbook. Also included in the collection are a Marist College beanie and a rock to be carried at all times as a requirement for freshman by upperclassmen as a form of hazing. The collection includes materials spanning from the years 1962 to 1977.

Senator & Mrs. Whitney N. Seymour Jr.
As advocates of the environment and members of Scenic Hudson, Inc., founded in 1963, Senator and Mrs. Seymour dedicated their time and efforts to the preservation of Storm King Mountain, directly confronting the Consolidated Edison Company’s proposed pumped storage facility at Storm King Mountain, near Cornwall, New York. The records consist of correspondence, clippings, legal documents, agenda and minutes of meetings, memoranda, studies, reports, publicity materials, printed matter, and maps.

Hudson River Sloop Clearwater, Inc.
The Scenic Hudson, Inc. Administrative History Collection documents the development of the environmental group from their landmark achievement of preserving historic Storm King Mountain to their present day efforts of protecting and preserving the environmental integrity and beauty of the Hudson River and its surrounding areas. The collection consists of administrative records and files, newspaper clippings, still photographs, correspondence, Scenic Hudson News and Annual Reports, legal materials, agenda and minutes of meetings, as well as a variety of other printed materials. Also included in the collection are files dealing with such topics as dredging, air pollution, Danskammer, the Marcy-South transmission lines, as well as a variety of other subjects.

The Hudson River Fisheries Unit
Scenic Hudson was created in 1963 and became well known through its fight to save Storm King Mountain. In 1963, Con Edison developed a proposal to build the world’s largest pumped-storage hydroelectric plant. The Hudson River Conservation Society Collection features the EPA, National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System hearings. These hearings span over 3 years, containing information on the legal dispute and the efforts that were made to fight against Con Edison.
