Collection contains the staff subject files that June Zeitlin created during her tenure as Deputy Director of the Ford Foundation's Rights and Social Justice Program. Records consist solely of Zeitlin's chronological correspondence. In addition to the files Zeitlin created when she served in the Rights and Social Justice Program, there is also some material that originates from Zeitlin's time as a Program Officer in the Human Rights and Governance Program. The responsibilities of the Human Rights and Governance Program transferred to the Rights and Social Justice Program in June 1991.

The collection is comprised of George Zeidenstein's professional correspondence, spanning his seventeen years of service to the Population Council. Records include internal Population Council memoranda and reports, as well as travel notes and drafts of speeches for public appearances.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts is a nonprofit institution dedicated to fostering the arts of opera, music, dance, drama, and arts education. Its objective is not only to exist as a physical place where the arts are created and performed, but also to promote and facilitate access to the arts to as wide an audience as possible.

This series is a nearly complete representation of "Executive Chamber," a television program written and produced by Gene Wyckoff. Topics were worked out in conjunction with Governor Nelson Rockefeller and members of his staff. The programs, broadcast in late 1964 and 1965, were designed to make clear the Governor's position on issues of importance to New York State voters.

During the course of his employment with the Rockefeller family, Mr. Worthley wrote lengthy letters to his family in Illinois, describing the Rockefeller boys' and his daily activities as well as the general environment in which he worked and lived for three summers.

In general, each fellowship file contains an application form (or statement of financial need in the early years), letters of recommendation, a language competency form, transcripts, an indication of choice of graduate school, and questionnaires and survey material used to track the fellow's progress through graduate school and subsequent career. Approximately 50% of the Fellows responded to the 1977 questionnaire and 11% returned a 1997 summary status card. Form letters and correspondence regarding financial matters were not included in the scanning project. The collection includes 14,260 printed photographs of individual fellows and those are housed separately and are organized alphabetically by first letter of surname. Printed annual reports for the following years are part of the collection: 1993, 1995-98.

The records of the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation span the years 1956 to 2005, with the majority of the records from the late 1970s to the late 1990s. During this time, the Winthrop Rockefeller Foundation was making grants to organizations that were based in Arkansas and only did business in Arkansas.
