Included are Cerf's personal correspondence files, 1929-1945, and the diaries and scrapbooks which he maintained from his school days throughout his active career. The diaries, in date-book format, contain terse notes on Cerf's meetings with authors and friends, on his travels and publishing activities; the scrapbooks contain correspondence and photographs, as well as memorabilia and printed items, and were annotated by Cerf and his wife, Phyllis Fraser Cerf Wagner. Also in the collection are manuscripts and proofs for Cerf's books including "The Laugh's on Me""Treasury of Atrocious Puns""The Sound of Laughter""Stories to Make You Feel Better", and "At Random: the Reminiscences of Bennett Cerf", which was edited by Phyllis Cerf Wagner and Albert Erskine, 1977. The papers also include condolence letters written at the time of Cerf's death, photographs and photo albums,certificates and awards, and miscellaneous printed material, including Random House and Modern Library catalogues. The collection is primarily correspondence files, both personal and professional, along with book reviews, awards and diplomas, letters of condolence on his death, clippings, and correspondence, manuscripts and printed materials relating to THE STREAM OF HISTORY. The correspondence relates specifically to the third edition. The manuscripts are typed and holograph inserts for the third edition and possibly for the second edition as well. Among the manuscripts are twenty-two notebooks containing holograph notes and drafts of chapters. The printed material consists of one copy of THE STREAM OF HISTORY, 1934 edition.

The general files, minutes, and reports reflect the varied activities and interests of the League, including apportionment, court reform, education, and voting rights. The historical files contain photographs, printed materials, and memorabilia, filed chronologically. Also included are the periodicals and publications of the League, scrapbooks arranged chronologically, and "Mailbooks", or volumes of mimeographed reports and announcements which were sent to branches and board members. Correspondence is both professional and personal, relating primarily to Fuld's duties in the New York District Attorney's Office, as a judge in the state and federal courts, and to his civic work for the Jewish Theological Seminary, the City College of New York, New York University, and the Columbia University Law School. Major correspondents include: Thomas E. Dewey, Louis Finkelstein, Herbert Lehman, and Nelson A. Rockefeller. The rest of the collection consists of Fuld's briefs, opinions, memoranda, forms of indictments, appeals cases, reports for the New York State Court of Appeals from his appointment in 1946 through 1973, and manuscripts of his speeches and lectures. The memoranda series deals chiefly with investigations into organized crime. In addition there are biographical materials, memorabilia, and photographs.

The V. K. Wellington Koo papers document the diplomatic legacy of Wellington Koo as a Chinese statesman and diplomat of the 20th Century. The papers primarily consist of materials collected during Koo's diplomatic career, relating to the Lytton Commission, 1932-1933; the League of Nations, 1931-1940; the United Nations, 1944-1946; his ambassadorships to France, 1932-1941; to Britain, 1941-1946; to the United States, 1946-1956; as the Senior Advisor to the Republic of China from 1956; and as the Judge on the International Court of Justice, 1957-1966. The materials include correspondence, diaries, memoranda, manuscripts, documents, notes, speeches, maps, photographs, printed material, and audio visual material. The bulk of the materials emphasizes China's domestic and foreign affairs, such as the Sino-Japanese conflict, World War II and the Cold War in the Far East region, as well as the League of Nations and the United Nations.
