The collection consists of 624 cuneiform tablets (dating from circa 3100-539 BCE), and some ancient clay objects. Accompanying these are some twentieth century casts, and a collection of catalogs of the collection, articles about various parts, especially Plimpton 322, and correspondence about the tablets, including a number of letters, mostly from Edgar J. Banks, to George A. Plimpton, and others about tablets now in the Columbia collection.

The Oracle Bones collection comprises 128 authentic, forged, and unconfirmed pieces of ox scapula and tortoise shells, also known as oracle bones (jiagu, 甲骨), that were used as a form of divination in ancient China during the late Shang dynasty, dating from circa 1300-1050 BCE.

A collection of items left by members of the Columbia community, as well as some local community neighbors, in tribute to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg following her death on September 18, 2020. The contents include notes, letters, posters, flowers and objects. Also includes 136 digital images of the memorial at Alma Mater as well as at Ginsburg's portrait in the Law School taken by the University Photographer, Eileen Barroso

A collection of color photographs documenting major campus events for undergraduate students primarily from 2003 to 2004 collected by the Division of Student Affairs. Events include Columbia College and School of Engineering Class Day graduation ceremonies, Move-In Day for the freshmen class in August 2003, Columbia250th "Birthday Bash" in October 2003, Homecoming and Family Weekend, both in 2003.

This collection consists of the records of the Columbia 250 Committee's minutes, events planning records, and publicity materials.

The Howard Stoner Course Materials collection contains syllabi, hand-outs, and other teaching materials collected by Howard Stoner, a New York City-based advertising executive who audited over 70 courses at Columbia and Barnard between 1994 and 2017.

Slides (28 items) were taken of the exhibited black-and-white photographs. The slides were separated and rehoused in a slide storage box. The remaining documentation was re-foldered and arranged in its original order.

This collection consites of the correspondence and project files of the Dharam Hinduja Indic Research Center at Columbia University.
