This collection consists of one file including: letters, a thrift card, a certificate of naturalization, regulations on permits for German immigrants, and work papers. The materials included details of life for a German immigrant family during the years of 1898-1919.

This collections contains legal documents, business documents, and letters relating to Aristarchus and father Henry Champion. The legal documents relating to Aristarchus and Henry Champion date from 1806-1830. The other documents relate to Aristarchus Champion and his business and estate, and they date from 1831-1892 with some undated material.

The Benjamin E. Washburn papers contain few items of a personal nature. Consisting of reports, correspondence, scrapbooks, diaries, photographs, books and journals, the papers concern Washburn's employment with the Rockefeller Sanitary Commission (1913-1914) and the International Health Board/Division (1915-1939).

This collection consists of calendars and carrier greetings dating between 1828 and the present. The carrier greetings and the majority of the calendars were produced by local newspapers for distribution to subscribers. While much of the collection was assembled for historical interest, recent calendars have largely been collected due to their image content. For example, the Erie Canalway calendars represent the winners of an annual photographic contest, and the calendars are retained as much for aesthetic reasons as for informational ones. This is an artificial collection assembled by the Local History & Genealogy Division of the Rochester Public Library.

Carey H. Brown was a former Chamber of Commerce committee chair and secretary of the Rochester Civic Improvement Association. Materials in this collection are related to city planning, and date from 1933 to 1935. They include

It includes team rosters, statistical material on individual players and teams, photocopies of articles and books on the Red Wings and other Rochester baseball teams, and a few items of ephemera.

This collection consists of an agreement for the sale of the Fourth Range in Township Number Thirteen from Daniel Penfield to Salmon Fuller and Caleb Hopkins. Signed by Zachariah Seymour for Penfield. (Seymour was brother-in-law to Oliver Phelps.) This document laid the basis for the foundation of the town of Penfield. It dates to 1805.

The collection contains miscellaneous office files of Sara Rios, former Director of the Human Rights and Governance Unit within the Peace and Social Justice Division at the Ford Foundation. Her office files contain conference files, reports, press materials, correspondence, and publications. Many grant-related materials in the collection between 1997 and 2000 are the files of Alan Jenkins. Jenkins preceded Rios in her role as Program Officer in the Peace and Social Justice Program from 1997-2000. Some correspondence with grantees and potential grantees is also present after 2000, when Jenkins became Deputy Director of Human Rights and International Cooperation at the Ford Foundation and when he was appointed Director of the reorganized Human Rights Program in 2001.

This collection contains the personal papers, photographs, writings, and scrapbooks of Mr. Harris Ottaway (1904-1999) as well as his decades of correspondence (1978-1999) with countless pen pals, most of whom were residents at the Kingsway Arms Nursing Home and retirement centers. Mr. Ottaway’s personal organizational system of the correspondence materials is left intact and generally follows a pure chronological order with an index.

Irving Booth was the son of James E. Booth, who was the president of the Monroe County Savings bank and a trustee to the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) during the 1890s. Papers include letters and awards of merit related to James Booth's parents, Peter and Phebe; Cooper genealogy information; chattel and deeds; several ribbons; Irving Booth's Cornell University and Alpha Delta Phi ephemera, and miscellaneous ephemera.

Also included is information on the New York World's Fair, and photographs of Farrell.

Tracey Irving Brooks was a professional quality photographer based in the Capitol Region of New York State's Hudson River Valley. Born in 1888 Mr. Brooks photographed Hudson River steamboats during the first half of the 1900s. The collection covers an extensive variety of steamboats on the upper portion of the Hudson River. The collection includes photographs, postcard images and glass plate negatives of steamers, tugboats and ferries from Tracey I. Brooks' collection.

The William Popp detective ledger book collection consists of the daily diary maintained by Detective William Frederick Popp of the Rochester Police Bureau between January 5, 1920 and August 12, 1939. It also includes a folder of photographs and a folder of biographical information and clippings provided by his descendants.

William Ringle was a Times-Union reporter who wrote to Beulah Boynton, daughter of Edward Everett Boynton, for information about the construction of the house bearing her father's name in 1954. The collection includes correspondence between William Ringle and Beulah Boynton re: the Edward Boynton house. Includes a signed letter from Frank Lloyd Wright to Beulah Boynton. The materials in the collection date from 1954 to 1955.
