in 1792-1793. There are documents relating to several members of the Beloselśkiĭ-Belozerskiĭ family. The part of the collection concerning the Horse Guards primarily relates to emigre activities in Europe and America during the 1930s. The materials include manuscripts for a history of the Guards, biographical sketches, minutes, newsletters, orders and several hundred photographs, many of which date back to the mid 19th century. Among the printed materials are journals, illustrations and a number of scrapbooks. The collection also contains several dozen oversized albums, illustrations, documents and photographs.
The bulk of the collection consists of memoirs and manuscripts on historical military themes by Pavel Nikolaevich Chizhov. The memoirs deal with such topics as Chizhov's military education, his military service (garrison duty in Warsaw, the Far East, World War I, and the Civil War in the south), and his life in the emigration.
Boris Vladimirovich Gerua Papers, 1904-1974 2100 items
The collection consists primarily of letters written to Gerua in the 1930s by other emigres who had formerly served as officers, such as Vladimir Kamenskiĭ and Vasiliĭ Gurko. There are also copies of letters by Gerua from the Far East at the time of the Russo-Japanese War. Also included are manuscripts by Gerua and by Nikolaĭ Rotshteĭn; sketches by Gerua of participants in the 1926 Zarubezhnyĭ Sʺezd (Congress Abroad) in Paris; and photographs.
The papers include correspondence, photographs, and articles written by I︠U︡zefovich on the defense of Port Arthur during the Russo-Japanese War. Also included are scrapbooks relating to his life and career; and printed material.
Manuscript and typescript memoirs (in all 600 p.) that deal chiefly with Kamenskiĭ's military education, the imperial court, his service during World War I, his service as General Petr Wrangel's diplomatic courier in 1921-24, and the emigration in France. Part of the manuscripts on World War I consists of copies of his diary. Some hand-drawn maps, photographs, and six copies of the bulletin of the organization of veterans of the Jaeger Regiment complete the collection.

The papers consist of correspondence, documents, a photograph, and printed materials. The correspondence is to Vera Vasilʹevna Onoprienko, Pavel's wife, and to Sofiia Pavlovna Onoprienko. Documents primarily deal with Pavel Vasil'evich Onoprienko and his tenure as aide to the Russian military agent in Paris. Among the documents there is an affidavit dated 1906 dealing with privy councillor Vasilii Semenovich Adikaevskii of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. There is a group photograph with Vladimir Onoprienko from the Russo-Turkish War.

Lifaŕ correspondence, a diary, manuscripts and memoirs, subject files, documents, military service records and questionnaires, membership registers of the Union of the Knights of St. George (Soi︠u︡z georgievskikh kavalerov), photographs and printed materials. The collection mostly concerns the Russian General-Military Union and the Union of the Knights of St. George. The diary is by Lev L. De-vit on the Civil War. Subject files include materials on the Union of the Knights of St. George and Major-General Ippolit V. Savit︠s︡kiĭ. Service records, military service questionnaires, membership records and photographs deal with members of both organizations. Printed materials include mimeographed bulletins of these organizations and a book listing the recipients of the Order of St. George, dated November 26, 1916.
