The New York Central Railroad Stock Certificate Collection is comprised of three boxes containing over 200 stock certificates (and a few bonds) from the 1840's to the early 1900's. All but a few are certificates of railroad companies, many of which became part of the New York Central System. The certificates are not only of historic, but also of artistic, interest.

These records document the history of the New York Chamber of Commerce and Industry, beginning with its establishment in 1768. Tracking the wax and wane of the organization's influence over the next two centuries, the collection provides a first hand account of the Chamber's many contributions to New York City and State business and development. These records exist in a wide variety of formats, such as bulletins, correspondence, minute books, and printed materials.

The records of New York State Common Cause document campaigns against political action committees, election reform, civil service reform, and accountability issues.

The records of the New York State Conference of Local Mental Hygiene Directors trace the development of mental healthcare throughout the state from the early 1950s through the beginning of the twenty-first century. Established in the mid-1970s, the Conference's records include correspondence, memos, meeting minutes, reports, and manuals that chronicle the efforts of mental health professionals as they encourage local, county, and state agencies to provide quality, affordable services for persons living with mental illness, chemical dependency, and/or developmental disability.

Correspondence, reports and printed material relating to the proceedings of the 1967 New York State Constitutional Convention. Includes copies of propositions submitted to the Convention for amendment of the Constitution. Also, correspondence and printed material relating to the proposed repeal of the Blaine Amendment, Article II, Section 3, which prohibits aid to sectarian schools. Copies of the proposed Constitution, which was defeated in the November, 1967 election, also are included.

A collection of documents including deeds, leases, agreements, and land titles relating to transactions in upstate and Western New York. Includes records relating to Albany, Monroe County and the Pulteney Purchase.

Contains images of sites of significance to the history of New York State. The images are all mounted on sturdy card stock and labeled with town, date, description, and source, if appropriate. Media include: prints; lithographs; post cards; b&w sepia-toned, and hand colored photographs; and stereoscopic view cards.

Collection of material related to printers, publishers, and booksellers in New York State, including both printed (broadsides, catalogs, forms, etc.) and non-printed material (correspondence, invoices, etc.)
