Edwin Becker was a poet who produced several books during his lifetime. He was also an engineer and a keen inventor.

Elizabeth Boswell was a locally respected artist and former social worker. She was married to Professor Foster Boswell who worked at Hobart College.

Elizabeth Durfee was the daughter of a Hobart College professor and dean, herself a physics instructor and registrar for HWS Colleges.

Elizabeth Rose Carson was a lifelong resident of Geneva. Her collection of diaries give insight into Geneva in the 20th century.

This is a photograph collection was created by Elizabeth Erti Calabrese who documented her family and their lives in Geneva from the 1930s through 1980s.

This collection contains photographs, catalogs, advertisements and articles from various publications. Also included is correspondence conducted between the Geneva Historical Society and others from the 1960s-2000s, mostly with Eleanor Clise, GHS Archivist. Most Fay & Bowen material comes from after the company moved from Auburn, 1904, until it closed in 1929; a couple of catalogs or copies are included from pre-1904. Also included are FayBow materials from the early 1930s.

Gerald and Viacita Fowler were residents of Geneva from the late 1920s for the rest of their lives and were very involved in the Geneva community and political spheres.

Materials from this collection refer to the buildings on the corner of Milton and Pulteney Streets and the later building on Carter Rd.

These materials cover 1796 through the 1990s with histories, research, articles, and photographs on the building and its uses since it was built. Especially important are the deeds related to the Hygienic Institute’s Amos B Smith and James Knapp and the Pulteney Apartments, Inc.
