This collection consists entirely of photographs.

Correspondence, manuscripts, and memorabilia of the American poet, Hart Crane, range in date over most of his active life. This collection includes over 500 letters written by Crane to members of his family and close friends and received by him from his family and contemporary authors including Eugene O'Neill, Sherwood Anderson, T. S. Eliot, Alfred Stieglitz, Waldo Frank, and Allan Tate. Among these is a group of letters written to Mrs. Crane upon Crane's death. There is correspondence and documents relating to his books, THE BRIDGE, WHITE BUILDINGS, and THE COLLECTED POEMS. Also present are most of the original manuscripts of Crane's major works ("The Bridge" "White Buildings" "West Indies Poems" etc) with corrections and additions in Crane's hand. Included here are a number of drafts of poems of his earlier period. The is also a copy of the 16mm motion picture "In Search of Hart Crane."

Correspondence, documents, diaries, physician's "visiting books," household accounts, photographs, and memorabilia of various members of the Hayes-Coleman family of Canandaigua, New York. They are primarily concerned with the Canandaigua area, but they include, either in the original or in transcript, diaries and letters relating to Frederick, Maryland, Brooklyn, New York, ranch life in Colorado, and the life of an art student in Paris in 1890. Transcripts of practically all of the material, with illustrations and careful documentation, have been made by Mrs. Elizabeth Hayes Goddard.

The Hazel Diamond Macy diaries, 1855-2012, the bulk of which document the writer's daily life from 1898-1942. The collection is arranged into three series: Diaries, Manuscripts and Printed Matter, and Photographs.

Organizational papers documenting aspects of the work and history of the Hebrew Benevolent Loan Association originally known as Gemilut Chasidim [Acts of Loving Kindness] and its work in the development of the Buffalo Jewish community through interest free loans.

This photograph album created by Helen C. Hess (Class of 1933) contains images of the University of Rochester's Prince Street Campus, River Campus, Memorial Art Gallery, and Commencement 1933. It also contains photographs of downtown Rochester and a fire on Lake Avenue in 1935. A number of images show Hess and friends on trips to parks and other sites in the surrounding area, including Conesus Lake, the Adirondacks (for a state geologic field trip), Durand Eastman Park, Ellison Park, Roseland on Canandaigua Lake, Niagara Falls, Hemlock Lake Park, Powder Mills Park, Hamlin Beach Park, and Letchworth Park.

Correspondence, manuscripts, notes, photographs, reviews, clippings, and other printed materials about Hanff, as well as books by and about her.

The Helen Hess prints, 1935-1945, contains 13 black and white prints. It appears that Hess submitted these prints to be shown in exhibitions, namely the Kodak Camera Club. The subject matter of these photographs is mainly centered on outdoor photography with the exception of Hess's still life of flowers in a vase. Forests, lakes, snow, and numerous individuals are captured in the photos. Some of these prints appear to be a series of photographs taken at the same location, with a focus on the same lake in a forest. The dates vary from the mid-30s to the 40s with some photos noticeably clearer and younger in age than others. Hess used bromide processing to create these prints, as indicated in her handwriting on their backsides.

This collection documents the life, work and activism of Helen Quirini of Schenectady, New York. The collection represents Quirini's numerous activities and interests including her early work owning a local market with her brother, her 39 year employment for General Electric, her activism in unions during her employment and retirement, as well as her charitable activities where she pursued civil, housing, pension, women's and senior citizen's rights.

The Helen Shaddock Rockwell Papers consist of Shaddock's letters during her time in the WAVES to her mother in Rochester and her transcriptions of the letters. The collection also includes a photo album and various miscellaneous items about the WAVES.
