The University of Rochester Archives is housed within the Department of Rare Books, Special Collections, and Preservation at the University of Rochester and is located in Rush Rhees Library. The Archive's material documents the history of the University from its founding in 1850 to the present, including administrative records, official publications, and collections that record student life. Formats include prints, maps, architectural drawings, photographic media, visual and audio recordings, and artifacts.

Includes minutes of the chapter's meetings (1859-1938, 1947-1960); correspondence relating to the history of the chapter as collected by Harvey F. Morris (class of 1902) and a typescript history of the chapter which he wrote (1936); brief records of members of the chapter (Class of 1883 through Class of 1959); correspondence, 1915-1959; minutes and reports of the Genesee Graduate Chapter; 1911-1940; 1946-1948; 1953-1959; newspaper clippings; and other material related to the fraternity and its Graduate Chapter.

This collection contains materials related to the University Rowing program (formerly the Crew team). It consists of five series: Correspondence and Meeting Minutes, Newspapers and Clippings, Stickers, Regatta Booklets, and Photographs. Photographs are divided into subseries that focus on Social Events, Practices and Workouts, and Regattas.

Collection

The collection contains memorabilia and photographs, most of which are from 1901 to 1916. Materials include photographs of various graduating classes, Class Day programs, theater programs, Young Women's Christian Association (Y.W.C.A.) booklets and programs, and luncheon and annual banquet booklets. The collection also includes various newspaper articles about the College for Women that relate to topics such as faculty, the basketball team, Commencement, and graduating classes. Some articles are photocopies. The collection also contains scrapbooks created by students. They consist of newspaper articles, programs from various events, and personal mementos. The scrapbooks are no longer bound.
