Moncrieff, W. T. (William Thomas), 1794-1857

The collection consists of letters written by Moncrieff, with 3 receipts for money received from R. W. Elliston and C. R. Elliston. The principal correspondents are Robert William Elliston, James Winston, a business associate of Elliston's, and Charles Molloy Westmacott, proprietor and editor of The Age. The letters concern the writing and production of Moncrieff's plays, especially Giovanni in Ireland and an adaptation of Mozart's opera The Magic Flute, the selling of Moncrieff's copyrights to plays, publicity for the plays, Moncrieff's litigation with Joseph Glossop, his monetary troubles, and his relations with Elliston and Winston, the managers of Drury Lane.

Chang, William Yukon, 1916-2019
William Yukon Chang was the founder and editor of "Chinese-American Times", a Chinese American paper that published completely in English from 1955 to 1972. While running the newspaper, Chang also served in local social and civic groups to address issues facing the New York Chinatown community, including poverty, juvenile delinquency, mental illness and lack of access to adult language programs. The William Yukon Chang papers document Chang's life and career, Chinese American life, and social service and activism scene in the Lower East Side from the 1950s to the 1970s.

The Willowbrook Review Panel was a Federal monitoring group established by the U.S. District Court in 1975 and dismissed from its duties in 1987. The Willowbrook Review Panel Records provide extensive documentation of the Panel's main function: monitoring implementation of the 1975 Willowbrook Consent Decree in New York State which set new standards for the care of the facility's residents.

The Winston Churchill Commencement Materials contains letters, telegrams, memoranda, clippings, and other items relating to Churchill's speech and honorary degree. Correspondents include Winston Churchill, Fred Hovde, and Alan Valentine. A collection of additional photographs and postcards was received from the Minneapolis Collection at the Minneapolis Public Library in March 2004.
