The company was known for selling fine furniture, looking glasses, and artist’s supplies, and was often referred to as the “Albany Art Gallery.” Annseley and Co. closed in the 1940s. This collection contains business records of Annesley and Co., and includes invoices for items received by the company from 1898 to 1900 and business correspondence from customers, suppliers and artists from 1905 to 1911.
