He is involved in the progress of Humanities Division programs, selection of fellows and grants- in-aid, and development of new research. The Division's goal is the realization of humanistic studies and the arts can make to contemporary life and thought. Fahs surveys university programs, attends conferences and discusses plans for an African studies program.
