The correspondence is chiefly from the period 1925-1958 and includes letters from Mark Aldanov, Anton Denikin, Ivan Shmelev and one or two items each from Ivan Bunin, Pavel Mili︠u︡kov, Alekseĭ Remizov etc. The documents and financial records are primarily personal and the subject files include materials on a number of commemorative celebrations and on various exile organizations in France.

The papers of Maslovskiĭ consist of correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, and subject files. Among the correspondents are Mark Aldanov, General Nikolaĭ I︠U︡denich, and many former Russian officers. Manuscripts consist largely of Maslovskiĭ's bound typescript memoirs"Nekotorye stranit︠s︡y moeĭ zhizni" (ca. 2,200 p.); the manuscript version of the first six volumes of the memoirs is also included, as is a memoir about his service in Persia in 1909-1914. Subject files include correspondence, manuscripts, and printed materials about his research on World War I, his book, General I︠U︡denich, and other topics.

The papers of Il'ia Grigor'evich Savchenko (1889-1961). The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, caricatures, and materials relating to a number of Russian émigré organizations. The materials relating to émigré organizations include correspondence, financial records, and mimeographed textbooks prepared by the professors of the Russkii iuridicheskii fakul'tet v Prage (Russian Juridical Institute in Prague), and correspondence and printed materials of the Soiuz ob"edinenii russkikh okonchivshikh vysshie uchebnye asvedeniia (OROVUZ; Union of Societies of Russians Who Have Graduated from Institutes of Higher Education), which Savchenko headed. In addition, there are materials relating to other émigré groups in Europe and the United States with which Savchenko was associated.

Among the manuscripts are A. Argunov's, "Iz perezhitogo," on Russian socialists in 1914-1917; a report by Kovarskii read to the Society of Russian Doctors in France, 1940 (Obshechestvo Russkikh Vrachei im. Mechnikova); and items on Soviet themes by Mark Vishniak, dated 1965-67. There is a photograph of Il'ia Fondaminskii, of Aleksandr Kerenskii, and of members of the Russian Constituent Assembly in France, 1922. One subject file concerns the death of Vladimir Zenzinov. Printed materials include catalogs and book lists from "Rodnik."

Manuscripts of his works include "Istoki""Nachalo kont︠s︡a""Zhivi, kak khochesh"́, and "The Escape" (English translation of "Begstvo"), such shorter tales as "Noch ́v terminale""Povest ́o smerti", and "Ulḿskai︠a︡ noch"́, as well as numerous articles, book reviews and essays. There are financial records for "Novyĭ Zhurnal", which Aldanov helped found, and the clippings are mainly articles about Aldanov. There is one late photograph of Aldanov.

Correspondence, manuscripts, photographs, documents, subject files and printed materials of Sergei Grigor'evich Svatikov (1878/1880?-1942), Russian lawyer, historian, publicist, and public figure. The correspondence includes letters from Mark Aldanov, Vladimir Burtsev, Ivan Efremov, Georgii Grebenshchikov, Grigorii Lozinskii, Sergei Mel'gunov, Nikolai Rubakin, George Vernadsky and Mark Vishniak. There is a notebook that belonged to Vera Zasulich. Among the photographs are pictures of Prince Adam Jerzy Czartoryski, Sergei Mel'gunov, and Aleksander Wielopolski. The manuscripts include several by Svatikov as well as many notes, lists and bibliographical compendia relating to his oeuvre. The subject files cover such areas as the Russian Reading Hall in Heidelberg, the Turgenev Library in Paris, and the Russkii akademicheskii soiuz (Groupe academique russe), also in Paris. The printed materials include clippings, materials from the Institute d'ʹetudes slaves, and a number of books by Svatikov.

The manuscripts include drafts and typescripts for several dozen articles and chapters as well as untitled manuscripts and notes. The printed materials contain clippings and offprints of articles by Prokopovich, periodicals he edited, and copies of his major books.

The correspondence (ca. 1920-1951) primarily deals with organizational subsidies and events, and includes letters from such writers as Mark Aldanov, Ivan Bunin, Mikhail Fedorov, Mikhail Osorgin, Alekseĭ Remizov, Nadezhda Teffi, Marina T︠S︡vetaeva and Boris Zaĭt︠s︡ev (the president of the organization) among others. There are manuscripts by Vladimir Zeeler and Sofii︠a︡ Anichkova-Taube as well as photographs of several members of the organization. The financial records include receipts for subsidies and general financial statements covering the 1920-1950 period. The organizational records concern Union balls, publications, and other activities. There are also folders of miscellaneous notes and clippings.
