This collection consist of the papers, manuscripts, correspondence, notes, audiotapes, and photographs of Vera Blackwell. The collection relates both to her translations, as well as to her writing, poetry, TV/radio scripts, and personal travels. There is a significant amount of personal correspondence and photographs.
This series is organized into five record groups: (1) Memorabilia, (2) Photographs, (3) Reference Materials, (4) Scrapbook Clippings, and (5) Presentation Documents relating to (a) the University at Buffalo, (b) other miscellaneous organizations, (c) audiovisual materials.
This collection holds 75 letters composed by Judith Baker Cardoni for her parents and sister. The letters were written between June 1963 and May 1966 while Judith was a student in the University at Buffalo's School of Pharmacy. The content covers a time when the School of Pharmacy was increasing the admission of women and the letters document the local, state, and national events that affected the lives of young people pursuing a college education during the mid-1960s.
