A thick folder of proposals, cost estimates, and correspondence relating to the renovations made to Rush Rhees Library in 1971-72 can be found in Box 6. Box 7 contains a scrapbook compiled by Augusta Hoeing, widow of Professor Charles Hoeing, who had donated $25,000 for a garden court in memory of her father, Calvin C. Laney, Rochester's first superintendent of parks.
