This collection contains the records of the Albany Hardware and Iron Co., a wholesale hardware distributor in Albany, New York. The collection contains administrative records, photographs, catalogs, and scrapbooks, along with newspapers ads and articles on the company and the men who ran it.

This collection contains correspondence, photographs, and newspaper clippings from both Albany, New York and the Netherlands relating to the “Albany Helps Nijmegen” campaign of 1947.

Consists of land records (deeds, indentures, leases, and mortgages) associated with Ebenezer and his son Charles S. Landers for parcels in Afton, Bainbridge, Jericho, and South Bainbridge, Chenango County, NY. Among the other names included on these documents are: Sarah C. Landers, Margaret C. Landers, Arthur L. Fisher, Marshall Hill, Devillo Church, George Bliss, and Peter Betts. A scrapbook entitled "Landers Family Records - line of Thomas Landers of Lenox, MA," contains original Landers family correspondence and receipts, 1781-1846; newspaper clippings; photographs; and a color copy of the Landers family shield.

This collection contains materials from the Schenectady High School system. The bulk of collection dates from 1931 to 1983, however, some materials date from as early as 1927 and as late as 1992. Materials are almost entirely from Linton High School (1957-1992) and Mont Pleasant High School (1931-1992), though a few materials relate to the whole district and a few to Nott Terrace High School (1903-1958). This collection contains newspaper clippings relating to staff and students of both schools, some theater performance materials and posters, Linton HS library and school construction materials, and some general Schenectady School district materials, school newspapers and literary newspapers, photographs, maps, and blueprints.

The material that now comprises the African-Americans in Albany Research Collection began in 1967 as a research project at Guilderland Junior/Senior High School where Ruth Winne Roberts was teaching at the time. The collection contains brochures, notes, photocopied documents, clippings, invitations, programs, articles, bibliographies and photographs relating to the history of African Americans in Albany.

The Edward H. Butler Family played a prominent role in the development of the Niagara Frontier for nearly 100 years (1880 - 1976). Edward H. Butler, Senior published the first edition the Buffalo Evening News on October 11, 1880. Upon his death in 1914, his son, Edward, assumed the role of editor and publisher of the paper. At his death in 1956, his widow, Kate Robinson Butler ran the paper. Shortly after her death in 1975, the paper was sold to Blue Chips Stamps. Buffalo State College has enjoyed a long relationship with the Butler family. Three generations of members of the Butler Family served as Presidents of the College Council. E. H. Butler Library was named after Edward H. Butler, Senior. Collection includes personal correspondence; photographs; business records; financial statements; business files and personnel for the Buffalo Evening News; editorials; news clippings, and some miscellaneous ephemera.
