The College of Saint Rose Archives and Special Collections (Archives) appraises, collects, describes, preserves, and makes available the non-current, official records of the College and materials by and about persons affiliated with the College which have legal, administrative, or historical value.
This collection consists of materials that we found in Ursula Smith's home upon her passing in early 1999. The collection offers a unique glimpse into the evolution of The College of Saint Rose since its founding in 1920. The collection also illustrates the different aspects of the college that Ursula Smith found important and worth remembering. The collection traces her evolution from Saint Rose Student, to Saint Rose parent, to Saint Rose patroness.
This collection consists of materials created by the Association of the Colleges of Sisters of Saint Joseph (ACSSJ) to aid in educational, orientation, and enrichment activities at its member colleges.
