The Charles B. Sears Law Library occupies six floors in the center of the School of Law, and boasts a variety of different study spaces available for all UB students. Collections and services are tailored to support the research and educational missions of the UB School of Law community. As the only research-level law library in Western New York, the Charles B. Sears Law Library is an important community resource that serves the legal information needs of the UB community, the practicing bar, and the public at large.

The collection consists of Mr. Herald Price Fahringer's case documents, publications, and personal materials from 1951-2015. The collection also includes Mr. Fahringer's plaques and awards. The materials in this collection were collected, created, and used by Mr. Herald Price Fahringer. These materials were donated to the Charles B. Sears Law Library at the University at Buffalo after his death in 2015.
Collection includes original writings by Mr. Berman and background materials he collected in his research and consulting with and on behalf of indigenous peoples.
