Professional and personal papers of the German émigré scholar Paul Oskar Kristeller. Kristeller was a professor of philosophy at Columbia University and a world renowned scholar of Renaissance humanism and Renaissance philosophy who published widely, notably his major catalog of uncataloged manuscripts from the Italian Renaissance, the Iter Italicum.

Correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs and printed material of the English poet and critic, Edmund Blunden, documenting his personal and professional activity. Blunden's letters to his second wife, Sylva Norman, and his secretary, Aki Hayashi, are particularly well represented. Also included are many letters addressed to Blunden by eminent literary figures such as John Betjeman, George Orwell, Siegfried Sassoon, Stephen Spender, and Henry Williamson. Other literary correspondents are Adrian Bell, Joyce Cary, Richard Church, C. Day Lewis, Walter de la Mare, Graham Greene, H.D., William Plomer, Kathleen Raine, and Leonard Woolf. A substantial portion of the cataloged correspondence contains drawings, verse fragments and poems by Blunden which have been analyzed. Also present are eleven of Blunden's diaries, 1936-1967, which contain drafts of a number of poems. In addition, the collection contains a small number of autograph manuscripts of Edmund Blunden's literary works.

Karl Otto Paetel was a political journalist, born in Berlin, forced to flee Germany in 1935 (Paetel was sentenced to death in absentia by the Nazis), and immigrated to the United States in 1940. Paetel's interests focused on the radical movements and social changes in the Twentieth Century from his youth until his death in 1975. The collection consists of correspondence, Paetel's writings, writings by others, pamphlets, biographical materials, and periodicals.

Aaron Shurin is a poet, scholar, and essayist. He is the author of more than a dozen books, a professor emeritus at the University of San Francisco, and recipient of several fellowships and awards including the National Endowment for the Arts, the California Arts Council, and the Lambda Literary Award for Gay Men's Memoir/Biography. Shurin earned a BA at the University of California, Berkeley, where he studied with poet Denise Levertov, and an MA in poetics at the New College of California. His published poetry include Paradise of Forms (1999), Involuntary Lyrics (2005), and Citizen (2012). His prose work includes volumes of essays and criticism including Unbound: a Book of AIDS (1997) and The Skin of Meaning: Collected Literary Essays and Talks (2016). The Aaron Shurin Collection, 1955-2012 consists of correspondence, manuscripts, notebooks and journals, and coursework related to his time at New College of California, where he studied with Robert Duncan.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, a subject file, and printed materials. There are letters both to Merzheevskiĭ and to other persons. Most of the manuscripts were submitted for publication in "Vladimirskiĭ Vestnik," which published chiefly religious and monarchist materials. There is a book of memoranda of the regional chapter of the society of veterans of Gallipoli in Belgium and the group of the First Army Corps in Belgium and Luxembourg. The subject file is on General Miller and contains photographs of Miller and General Kutepov. Printed materials include approximately 80 copies of "Vladimirskiĭ Vestnik" dated 1955-1968.

The collection consists of images of campus facilities, faculty and administrators, dominated by images of Parsons School of Design classes, the Parsons fashion critics awards, commencement ceremonies, and guests of Inside the Actors Studio. While there are photographs from earlier decades, the prints, negatives, transparencies, and thumbnail printouts of digital image files largely represent the university in the 1990s through early 2000s.

Serge Prokofiev (1891–1953) was a Russian and Soviet composer, pianist and conductor, and seminal figure in the history of twentieth-century music. The Serge Prokofiev Archive (SPA) contains 58 original music manuscripts and over 10,000 letters and documents primarily from 1918-1936, the years Prokofiev spent in the West. The SPA also includes an expansive collection of music manuscript copies, published scores, concert programs, scholarly books and articles, photographs, and audio and video material, making it the premier research collection for studying Prokofiev's life, work and legacy.

These papers, which concern mostly Kridl's years in the United States, consist of correspondence, manuscripts, documents, photographs, and printed materials. Among the correspondents are Oskar Kalecki, Roman Jakobson, Hans Kohn, Czesław Miłosz, Leszak Serafinowicz (Jan Lechoʹn), Kazimierz Wierzyʹnski, Jʹosef Wittlin, and Florian Zaniecki; there are one or two items each from Vladimir Nabokov, Harlow Shapley, and Antoni Slonimski. The manuscripts include lectures and articles by Kridl; there are also personal and family documents. There are about 100 photographs from Warsaw during the 1944 uprising and immediately after World War II. Printed materials include copies of books by Kridl.
