Collection consists of five three-ring binders that consist of petitions, research and newspaper clippings relevant to the organization's actions to preserve and protect the ecology of Oswego.

Biographical / Historical:

The Ecological Action of Oswego was a small group of concerned citizens interested in local and world-wide environmental problems. The main effort of the organization was to postpone the development of nuclear power in the county of Oswego, until further research had been conducted on reactor safety and the impact of nuclear energy on the environment.
