Background
- Scope and Content:
Contains administrative records for the Harkness Fellowships, with a limited volume of files pertaining to the Atlantic Fellowships in Public Policy, and the Ian Axford Fellowships in Public Policy.
Files primarily consist of preparatory and planning documentation for associated conferences, workshops, seminars, orientation packets and handbooks. Records also include IHP chronological files and general correspondence as well as general administrative fellows files.
- Acquisition information:
- The Commonwealth Fund archives, along with all subsequent additions to the collection, were donated to Rockefeller Archive Center in 1985. Records were transferred to RAC by Commonwealth Fund in multiple accessions spanning 1988-2001.
- Processing information:
Minimal processing. Some records remain in original file folders and record storage boxes.

Records remain in order as physically received.
